  1. I've had enough incidents of teammates walking in front of me while I'm sighted in and taking my shot at point blank that yeah I just know it's a matter of time before I laze someone. 😂
  2. I'm curious, after a couple of incidents with lasers getting shone in people's eyes, a lot of our local sites here have banned them. You need to take the battery out or cover up the emitter if you're running one. Is that just a local thing? Personally I barely trust the average Airsofter with a pointy stick, nevermind an Ali Express laser made with poor quality control that places it somewhere between Doesn't Work and Star Wars Blaster.
  3. Pride flags being "gangsta" is hilarious ngl
  4. Hey man, do you not think that if these were reasonable prices for the UK market, they would have sold in the four months the post has been up.
  5. It's because it's short for Big Bollocks, clearly
  6. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/gas-powered_1/ultra-rare-vfc-x-a-studios-bcm-gbbr-1-of-only-199-worldwide_i85367 Frankly hilarious price for a VFC V2 AR that's three years old and has a couple of aftermarket parts installed.
  7. We got a "selling it for a mate" here
  8. That's grand, I don't have space for a computer desk in my wee flat. I'm looking at lathing barrels and such anyhow
  9. Buying them off eBay means they're probably repros tbh
  10. AI is definitely going to corner the slop market but it's nowhere near replacing actual content tbh
  11. Haven't got the space for a lathe sadly, as much as I'd like one.
  12. That's the one! Basing it on the AK from Last Light. Friend is refinishing it right now to make it look more weathered. One day I wanna build the Duplet from the games but that requires tools I don't have yet.
  13. Got one of these to saw up for an AK74M handguard and the butt of a post apoc double barrel shotgun. A wee choccy biccie for anyone who can guess the video game the build is based on.
  14. Tbf given how little Pmag style midcaps weigh, the BBs you load into it end up weighing about as much lmao. Feel like it'll be quibbling over grams and you're probably best looking at feed reliability and capacity.
  15. I do love the way they try and say it's used, but it's not really Used y'know. It was only one game day m8, basically fresh out the box. I didn't actually field it, I just gave it a soft lil kiss on the forehead during lunch break, no more than that I promise. No I don't have pics of the internals, why do you ask? It's lived a charmed 168 hours with me, it's been treated better than a wagyu cow.
  16. Usual thing of quoting higher UK prices for stuff that's been imported for cheaper. Side note: Zenitco foregrip on a 416 is a weird choice.
  17. That M7S is a thing of beauty, but man I'm very envious of that Marine helmet. Looking forward to your upcoming SOEIV project
  18. £420-ish to buy it brand new from Taiwan, yeah. Twice that if you buy in-country, so I guess it comes down to whether you think importing is 2spooky or not.
  19. Decided my VFC AK74M really needed an optic with the same Rusky vibe. (Ignore that it's a Belarusian copy).
  20. Tbf it really depends what you're buying. AEGs it tends to be ABS because they're cheap and there's not much mechanical stress. In GBBs it needs to ideally be FRN or something a bit tougher because it's getting rattled more. It's why the KWA and TM MP7s eventually crack their receivers but the VFC holds.
  21. I mean, no, there's different kinds of plastic. You can't make transparent Fibre Reinforced Nylon this cheap, which is basically what you want for half decent durability in a GBB. It's likely to be transparent ABS, at best polycarbonate. The former is crap, the latter is unlikely because it'd be pretty expensive. Also it's gonna look hideous after it scratches tbh.
  22. It's not even nearly a good paint job. I think the can was running out
  23. Oh God, one bad fall with that
  24. Hey Ben, quick business tip: VFC products are manufactured in Taiwan and ProAct is their primary wholesaler in-country. So much so that you can special order any VFC part off-catalogue and they'll send a guy out to collect it from VFC. Products imported to HK have wholesale deals but are still paying for shipping and then a little bit for the shop itself. WGC and the rest are great, but there's a bit of extra being put on there to keep their lights on. It makes a lot more sense to buy from Proact on a wholesale account using large orders as previously mentioned. You can get some great deals that way! Hope this helps you grow your business.
  25. Proactstore offers cheaper prices if you buy over about £1k at a time and have a registered business address tbf. It's why WhatsApp groups are full of suspiciously cheap GBBRs right now from 3-4 users. You need to buy like idk 4 PPSh at once to qualify.
