  1. There aren't any, you gotta import them
  2. Honestly I really like having a range at my local site for that reason. If only to get everything zeroed in right.
  3. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/bargian-bin/starter-bundle-worth-over-600_i88351 "Starter Set worth over £600" X to Doubt
  4. Pew pew pew
  5. If autistically fucking around with my guns to gain marginal accuracy improvements is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

  7. Time Left: 4 days and 4 hours

    • FOR SALE
    • USED

Includes winter and summer springs. Handy for a very short stroked setup or builds that have a shorter buffer tube, like a CQB tanker style stock. Looking for £60 including postage and PayPal G&S.

    60.00 GBP

  8. Tbf you can just set lower limits at your site. CQB sites round my bit have lower power limits. Higher legal ones would be nice for variety, but it is what it is.
  9. UsedAirsoft is pretty dire, even when it's not advertising baby naming or HVAC
  10. I mean they're using AliExpress gear in Ukraine rn on both sides. Partly out of desperation, partly because something that does a crap job is better than nothing at all.
  11. I love Cal 6mm Gas Blowback Replica it's my favourite model of gun
  12. I don't seem to see cheaters all that often tbh. Maybe one per game day and the marshals get told pretty quick. But I agree that the ability to hit a teeny bit out of cover makes the screwing around with teching a gun worth it. Accuracy by volume is nice but personally I find most people hit the dirt when fifty BBs pass by them and then the other 50 BBs aren't hitting anything.
  13. To be honest, this has been my experience as well. My VFC G3 is effective out to 50-60m and that's probably my best option. My MP7 a bit shy of that, at 50m before it has dispersion all over the place. I do find with a boltie that while the range doesn't really increase, the precision does a little. Whether that's just using heavier BBs or the actual power bump, I dunno. My boltie is basically a Mk12 build with a bolt action built in, so I get the ergonomics of a good DMR but higher power from it being a boltie. I find I can get first shot hits a lot more often at long ranges, and it makes peeking engagements a lot easier to win. I can hit a head or exposed arsecheek at the range my standard guns could hope to hit a man sized target.
  14. I can't say I've ever had more than a small bruise from Airsoft, and I once did a Halloween CQB game in a witch outfit. (Did sting a bit though). I don't think you gain *that much* range from higher power limits. Chatting to Americans with an average 1.5J limit for automatic Airsoft guns, they seem to have pretty comparable effective ranges. It's all in the hop up after all. That said, I would like the legal limits relaxed based on RoF like we have now, for special events. Those Americans have pretty free rein so they can do GPMGs running at DMR limits, and .50 stationary HMGs running at 2.3J. I think that would be really fun for MilSim and LARP, could be managed by making sure the operator isn't a dick, and it would be nice if it wasn't technically illegal to have that.
  15. They're gunna be rare for a while. I'm ngl, I thought about it.
  16. I don't see why they wouldn't let him akimbo. It's worse than just using one gun in game terms, though it is really fun.
  17. You can set it to not use Evri when you make the listing btw. I set mine to Royal Mail only. Evri has lost too many packages for my liking.
  18. This has been the case for decades now. Over time the complexity of electronic products has increased, more functions are on ICs rather than discrete components, and the assembly methods favour small and closely packed board layouts to minimise size, which makes it an absolute bastard to perform repair on most things. Plus an unhealthy dose of Planned Obsolescence. If I never have to replace an 0201 surface mount component it'll be too soon. It's like handling a grain of sand.
  19. Yeah like I said, they're very cheap. Your TV costs 5-10x that and they don't have repair shops you can take them to either. Most manufacturers exchange like for like and maybe have one service center for the whole EU that performs board level replacement. It's part of why people have been banging on about Right To Repair for years now. If you paid me a fair rate to spend an hour inspecting and repairing it, plus shipping there and back, it'd already be getting close to the cost of buying one new. So people just do anyway.
  20. Wrap it in tonnes of bubble wrap then put it in one of those thick parcel bags clothes get delivered in.
  21. Oh, it may be quite hard to repair. There's not really a dedicated service for that kind of thing, as they tend to be quite cheap. You may have some luck if you have a pal who has electronic tech skills, but usually the parts are tricky to procure. It sounds like a fault in the power line if both modes are flickering.
  22. I'm guessing it's a real one rather than repro. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?
  23. That's why I like running GBBs so much. Limited ammo forces me to pick my shots, and reloading under fire feels incredible when you nail it.
