  1. I like it but don't have many GBBR's to compare it to, a two-tone SCAR-L was my first game pew so I have always liked the 'shape'. It's no lightweight but has proven more reliable than the WE XM177 I have.
  2. I'd have the MDR, purely for the rarity. I believe the early one's had issues(like the RS) but I'd hope a V3 had been sorted out. I have a WE SCAR-H GBBR and a couple of AEG SCAR-L's and love them to bits but I love bullpups as much/more.
  3. A bucket is no good for airsoft, I use a 6ltr soup pot, it's armoured & makes a rewarding ping when hit.
  4. Aye, but you will... Lots of men have names for their BFF, G3A4 is not what mine would be called. Maybe PDW.
  5. I usually take a couple of AEG's as plan B if GBBR's don't behave, the mk12 has only ever been crono'd and sits at 1.15j 352.4fps so might be an ideal pew for me.
  6. I got some fluffy socks from Santa which I could pair with some tactical crocs, sure they'll reach my knees so I could tuck my G3A4 into them as a secondary.
  7. I kinda fancy a DMR role, mainly due to being a lard arse so no sprinting to the target or tactical advances but my local site has a max 1.2j 360fps on everything except a bolt action. I still want to keep trying my GBBR's tho, might take my mk12 aeg to see how it fairs.
  8. I don't have a massive nob & I have several pairs of crocs. Oh, wait a mo...
  9. I'm sure we appreciate the update but you are still selling a broken GBBR for far too much. I want a WE L85A2 in my life but not at even half that much. For what it's worth, when you get the disconnector fitted & it works you might get the usual 60-70% which is £360 at most, and now that we know it's a boneyard at present £260 is more likely.
  10. I can add from my own experience of the L2A3 that the one's I cleaned in the TA (never got to fire the buggers) had the mottled/dimpled paint as seen on forgotten weapons (if that's were I saw it).
  11. Ah, yeah. you got £170 spare?
  12. I don't know the going rate, but if I tried it I know the pew would never work again so £170 inc the service seems good to me,either that or replace it with a new pew
  13. £135 is great unless you can do it yourself.
  14. If you're gonna tease us like that you could at least wear a bikini.
  15. Hmmm... We're all one team (oh wait, we're airsofters) We're two teams (oh wait) We're dozens of individuals with the same objective (oh wait) We're dozens of individuals with our own objectives (that's better).
  16. Too tired to post pics so... I don't have the detailed knowledge about the specifics of pews I have & those with a close or a tenious connection to the British armed forces, so be prewarned... what I think I have is potentially wrong/incorrect. L96A1/L115A1 springer, bought as a basic two-tone before my ukara & now painted to resemble the Green Meanie. L96A2/L115A2 springer, another cheap wallhanger I've rattle canned with a 'Kewl' desert pattern cam. L96/Arcti Warfare, left stock & un painted simply coz I like it as it is. SMLE mk3, springer, previously a tow-tone but cleaned up fairly well by the previous owner. Thompson 1921, a denix replica in full 'gangster' mode with 50 rnd drum mag. Thompson M1A1, a rattled ex two-tone which needs a much better paint job. Sten mk2, denix replica (weighs a bloody tonne, in fact all the denix stuff is heavy). MP5SD6, retractable stock, had one years ago & craved another one. MP5, hard stock. MP5, based on an Iranian Embassy pic with slim hand guard, retractable stock & humungeous SL-20XL torch on a crane mount. Mp5K Sterling mk4 L2A3, rubber prop, Cleaned a couple in the TA in my youff but never got the chance to fire one (as a chef in the ACC attached to the RA my spatula skills took priority). Steyr Aug, does the Falklands defence force count? EM2, rubber prop but cool as F*^k. L22A2, springer wallhanger. L85A2, with Daniel Defense hand guard, LLM01 & SUSAT L85A3, with fore grip/bipod & Elcan scope with RMR. L85A1, springer with iron sights & bayonet. L85A1, replica with susat & BFA. L85A2, with L123A1 UGL M230 GLM/UGL L131A1 glock17, does exactly what it says on the tin. L9A1 Browning High power. Sig Sauer L105A2 Sig 226, aquired a couple recently. M1911, got a few in different styles including a denix. M16A1, more of an VN than a UK. C8, Canadian version really. L1A1 with bayonet & wooden furniture, well it's really a rubber prop in need of a better paint job. L1A1, ares make. My first entry into airsoft (second time round), Love it as it was my personal weapon in the TA. L86A2, yeah I like bullpups 18 in total. Most have scopes/sights accessories to a certain degree, & lots of slings boxed away(most slings look messy on wallhangers IMO). I'm sure more of my collection have a link to UK armed forces but with even more tenious links than those above.
  17. Only due to the mags... They're all 30ish bb's so either need more mags which weigh a tonne or you refil midway through a game, I opted for the more mags option, managed to pick up extra's at decent prices but I'm a fat lad carrying a damned sight more than just extra mags. Not managed to complete a game properly using gas but not the GBBR's fault, I put it down to midcap syndrom mainly but zero regrets buying GBBR's. I do take an AEG as a plan B tho. Currently have 3 GBBR's & would happily buy more in the future.
  18. To actually be helpful for once... my AK 'hole' was a bit tight (oo-er) so I got a couple of these from ebay that fit great... I imagine they'll even fit in an AR15 butt stock too but I've not tried yet. Airsoft 7.4v 1400mAh 20c LiPo battery Vapextech LP051 (8.4v Replacement)
