I doubt my feedback would be of any real merit, I rarely game & when I do I tend to use my favourite used rifs, even my L1A1 is unused as it's too hot for my usual site.

Games are won & lost in the safe zone based on kit worn & fielded.

I've looked at the FAL's that have been in the classifieds & threads like this one, and can honestly say I don't think I'd buy another unless it was an L1A1 with wooden furniture. The SLR was my personal weapon in the TA & that's why I have one but don't get the same buzz from models of FAL from other countries, Never say never tho as I wasn't keen on collecting AR variants either & we all know how that went...

Completely by coincidence I happened to see some of yesterdays Trooping the Colour, did I feel proud to be British? not particulary but I do enjoy watching the occasional bit of drill, I'm in the habit of watching Youtube while browsing social media or gaming and Trumps parade featured heavily so I'm currently watching it out the corner of my eye and thinking, Oooo Charlie might have liked a bit of military hardwear rattling about (in the middle of easily spooked horses), but what did make me feel a bit patiotic was comparing the US marching to the UK's, chalk & cheese. Nothing says Merica like multi cam, tanks & sponsorship of a parade.

Your UKARA needs 'topped up' each year if you want to remain registered, not 100% sure but I think you need to play at the site your UKARA is from twice a year to maintain it.

Not gonna lie but I'm well chuffed with my McGyvering. I'm constantly running out of room to display my collection so was looking for some of the S Racking like in the first pic, which seems to be an Airsoft World only product but they don't have the mag insterts I wanted so... I'm modified some Hi-cap Stanags to replicate the idea. Each mag can be used as a mag if I need to as the only mod is a 6mm hole in the base plate so the internals can easily be refitted if I need/wanted to, there's a foam insert in each mag to stop the hooks slipping or twisting. I reckon it'll only work with steal mags due to the weight of some of the rifs but I've aquired plenty mags over the years so won't miss them. In theory I'll be able to fit 18 in the same display space as 12 previously.
