  1. So I was last Airsofting maybe 5 or 6 years a go and only just go back into it. Waiting for sites to reopen of course. I could be wrong but I don't remember HPA being that big a deal besides the odd guy with a Polarstar, but now it seems like a deadly plague that has taken over.
  2. Please no one HPA an MWS haha
  3. Ah I see haven't been in so long couldn't remember if the limit was based on what you were running or .2s. Makes sense Damn this SixG stuff looks impressive. Deffo considering the nub and maybe the high speed buffer too. Seems optimal for semi only running but a slight pain on full auto. Full auto is not ideal for GBB with 35 rounds anyway haha My whole play style is gonna change I can feel it.
  4. Yeah have been considering the XISG brass nub, but deffo feel like I should just play with it stock for a bit. I will look into the high speed buffer. That just for RoF? and UAC I assume. Also on the FPS your .3s come under 350 which is my sight limit but I suppose with weather and variations could be a risk. Plus the joule creep on a .3 at 350 is probably unfair. Yeah I have seen the UAC lightweight bolt was but was a bit meh. The g&p power increase looks good for longer ranges
  5. Dumb question, I can buy this whole thing and just drop it in, no assembly/other bits needed? I haven't been airlsofting in ages and don't have a chrono. So I am going to see how predator ultra gas handles in my local CQB in Newbury (after lockdown) I am sure the lower TM sock FPS will be fine but it is tempting to get this bolt straight away ad just run heavier bbs instead of an npas. I don' know maybe is kind of a dick move as its gonna sting
  6. Oh I like that any walk thoughts on it? scale of 1/10 how hard is it Good tip thanks is it a whole bolt and nozzle too or just the BCG
  7. Looks like I need to buy that G&P bolt
  8. What charging handle are you running. It is the only metal part I've considered replacing but heard bad things about angry gun. probably gonna leave it stock.
  9. I am sure it's already somewhere in this thread but I just gotta say. I really think it's cute how they put this little foam thing on, to protect the cerakote from the dust cover. it's coming off none the less but nice. IMG_0921.HEIC
  10. Always used ASG Blaster. Used to be an AEG guy years a go so comfortable with them. Never use the bbs that come with the gun. I have heard TM is the exception but still will probably leave them alone
  11. Yeah bought it brand new was just thinking the movement on the nozzle could mean it doesn't sit flat on the mag but thanks for the reassurance. I ran it on some stronger gas today and wow!
  12. So I noticed the nozzle on my Marui bolt had some rotation to it. Gave it a bit of a nudge and felt like this was a lot of play Is this normal or could this cause a problem for the seal with the magazine. So far most of the things I have worried about on this forum have actually not been a big deal and I hope this isn't either, but just checking as I can't find a video that clearly shows how much play there could be.
  13. Okay thanks, I know there is a doc with recommend npas but out of interest which one are you using? What was putting me off, was hearing that they can actually be quite inconsistent Also are your BCG and nozzle spring stock or upgraded to handle the gas?
  14. fair enough, trying to avoid messing with an npas if possible. I think the Abbey ultra should be fine.
  15. I was honestly going to get the new SSP-18 because who doesn't want a full auto pistol but now I think it would make me look like an asshole with the Novristch logo on haha
  16. And can I ask what sort of FPS you get with the Nuprol or Ultra without any npas or regulator for it?
  17. Abbey or Nuprol Is this chart remotely right? Abbey 144a = Nuprol 1 Abbey Ultra = Nuprol 2 Abbey Vertex = Nuprol 3,4 I feel like maybe the abbey is slightly weaker than the nuprol but I have been scratching my head as everyone has a different favourite gas. Anyone with actual experience with these two? I am thinking to go Ultra by abbey or Nuprol 2 for everyday unless very hot or very cold P.S thanks to anyone putting up with an MWS noob and all my noonish comments. I have been trying to scroll through the 160 pages and It is really useful! best forum th
  18. Bada bing has a video where he disassembles his ags and he says he doesn't think you will get one on. But that isn't 100% as he didn't actually try it.
  19. Now that I would love to try
  20. Thanks, will make a note. But as per the OP are the recoil springs sensitive. Seems pretty beefy so I am assuming I probably didn't cause any damage.
  21. I tried this with my fingers and it wasn't having any of it. Which is strange because usually no problem.
  22. Buffer spring accident. So I reassembled the gun and forgot to put the BCG back in. The buffer shot forwards into the upper and that made for a fun 30 mins wiggling it out. Had to use some small tools, applying pressure, trying to PUSH the buffer back into the tube, PULL it forward into the receiver and even a little bit of twisting. Doesn't visibly look damaged but obviously a very important component. How likely are these to get damaged easily in this situation? Note for my earlier Full auto problems I did this mistake after those problems occurred.
  23. Noob problem alert. Ok so I have a gun thats a day old and having issues dumping a mag on 144a. First video is day one. it functioned fine with an expected slight slow down at the end on the weaker gas. Second video is the best I have been able to get out of it all day. Most of they day it has been failing to cycle a whole shot. Missfiring, not having enough power to lock back and barely getting through a 3 round burst. The second video is not terrible but is obviously much slower rate of fire and more sluggish than the first. Filmed 1 day apart with blaster .25 on 144a and a room temp magazine. Am I just being a noob here? Not filling the mag correctly, not enough, maybe over filling. I really don't know. Going to try on Green Gas when it arrives and if problems persist will make an update. But I am considering sending it back already! Didn't wanna be "that guy" I also am a bit of a hypochondriac so problems with a new gun certainly worry me IMG_0850.mov IMG_0858.mov IMG_0858.mov
  24. Mag dump problem, Hey all, new to GBB. Using 144a weak I know but should still be able to handle at least 1 mag dump. When I got the gun, brand new, I was able to pull off a full auto mag dump in cold weather on about 8/10 seconds fill no green gas mod. That was yesterday. Ever since, every time I try to repeat this it starts off with a very slow RoF and doesn't make it all the way through before it stops cycling. Switch to semi and it works but is. big sluggish. Any suggestions. The gun is a day old.
  25. Green GAS GAS GAS... So what's everyone saying about gas? I have been using Abbey predator 144a which is basically the low power gas TM recommend. I am finding the fire rate to drop at the end of a mag dump. Have heard lots about Green gas. Do I need to do this green gas mod everyone is on about? seems like the newer mags don't need it. Also why would you need to do the mod in the first place? I assume green gas takes up more volume in the magazine? How's everyones durability when running Green? Would you say only use it in the cold? Any internal upgrade required for improve durability? Basically if I use Green gas in my gun am I gonna break it! Finally heard bits about Nuprol but I didnt think they were a good brand?
