  1. Which stock do you have? If it's the collapsing one, is it the bit of bent metal you want a pic of?
  2. If you like the mp5 if you can source a plastic version you'll get to use your mags again. The metal one is significantly over 3kg. A short adjustable stock would help but any mostly plastic gun would help you. The p90 is a good choice.
  3. If your needing energy glucose tablets work wonders and don't require any liquid to consume. I use a water filter on the hills but for Airsoft I can bring enough for the day. As ppl say hot drinks are a nice morale booster, a treat so have what you want. Weekend events I guess need more kit, interesting info.
  4. Perhaps reprofile it to fit in the hole then explore options for securing it. Drill a shallow depression in the part and grub screw it from both sides. I'd bond the part in too.
  5. Dad is saying it's illegal. It's not. It doesn't sound like a rule thing, but an ignorance thing. Where do you get off judging the OPs maturity. You've no basis to to do this, one hyperbolae doesn't do that. Nothing immature in the post and the thread does not suggest anything about the character of the OP. This guy has written a well structured to the point, polite request for advice.
  6. I got these in long and short, the short ones are snug enuf to hold normal mags, the long ones obviously more secure. Both are very snug and you can cinch the bungee up more if you wanted.
  7. I had a look at a take down video and consequently the hop unit. Looks like you want an o ring on the other side of the lever to add a bit of tension.
  8. Are you sure your gearbox case isn't bent? Are you pressing in the bushings? I know gearbox casings vary but none of this sounds right. I'd be measuring the gear widths and comparing then to the originals, same with the bushings. You can take material off the bushing surface to thin it down but there should be enough recess to accept the bushing.
  9. if anyone is into mMP5 SDs, Patrolbase have a JG MP5SD2 for 90GBP. Very cheap altho im sure it's a base model gun.
  10. You can have cameras, body worn or otherwise with a simple policy. It's not a nightmare at all. If you contract in security they need to be licensed but otherwise you dont Without arguing this point, if it's in house it's also irrelevant.
  11. I'm unsure why you would think that. I hold an SIA licence, but it's not required to wear a body cam. You'd only need a licence if you weren't working for the Airsoft place and then only if you were watching the footage. Sia licences are to regulate the security industry, if you are working for the place that has the CCTV you don't need a licence. Otherwise someone in a school or shop would need an SIA licence. All you'd need to do to comply with data protection is have a policy and stick to it. Main thing being keep the video for the least amount of time you need to.
  12. lol, indeed. need a Geiger counter then.
  13. They do have H3 on them, which is tritium.
  14. GDPR applies to private or public areas. GDPR with respect to video applies in supermarkets, on the street etc. There are very few exceptions, marshalling Airsoft not being one.
  15. If you were to short stroke the thing you would have less energy to transmit to the bb since the spring will have less energy. If you kept the same spring then the motor would have less work to do and would cycle faster but the BB energy would drop, but perhaps not by much if you have plenty of volume in the cylinder compared to the barrel. Low TPA motors tend to draw a lot of current if they cant spin up close to their off load speed so starting from no revs draws lots of juice. You'll still get plenty of torque but at the expense of high current draw and a warm or hot motor. I've not seen a tight piston, side to side, only one top to bottom with the sector gear installed, which is a rack height, gear size issue. I'd be checking the gearbox piston rails are undamaged, or true. I'd also measure the pistons to see what the difference is.
  16. Perhaps drill out a hole in the knob bit and put in a suitable length of dowel. All the stress is on that area.
  17. Having video footage is great, people are unreliable and tend to make things up. It's a good idea, both for insurance and the management of people, customers and staff, to have it.
  18. Crappy batteries do exist even from new, but old used batteries seems the likely cause.
  19. Perhaps the connector types are incompatible. I had a quick look and there's no wires crossed over so gotta be the connectors looking similar but actually not Perhaps you can check the continuity
  20. I'll ask my place to weigh some bbs too. Never thought of doing it before
  21. The problem with cheap scales is the sensitivity, lab scales should do the job tho
  22. Has anyone seen Ricky Stanicky? Hehe Aircocking...
  23. Yeah a thin rigid plastic or metal body will transmit that sound quite well and with your ear next to it will seem loud. Butyl will reduce this alot, esp to anyone distant. The barrel report which is directional potentially can be heard at greater distances if it is loud, but as we know some guns are quiet without any silencing. I think getting the voluming right is probably the most effective silencing, but if for whatever reason you want to reduce that report somewhere contained for the air to expand into will reduce that pop.
