  1. Is this the polymer or metal version please?
  2. courtesy of reddit... The Swede's wife steps up to the tee and, as she bends over to place her ball, a gust of wind blows her skirt up and reveals her lack of underwear. "Good Grief, woman! Why aren't you wearing any skivvies?", Ole demanded. "Well, you don't give me enough housekeeping money to afford any." The Swede immediately reaches into his pocket and says, "For the sake of decency, here's a 50. Go and buy yourself some underwear." Next, the Irishman's wife bends over to set her ball on the tee. Her skirt also blows up to show that she too, is wearing no undies. "You woman of mine! You've no knickers on. Why not?", asked Patrick. She replies, "I can't afford any on the money you give me." Patrick reaches into his pocket and says, "For the sake of decency, here's a 20. Go and buy yourself some underwear!" Lastly, the Scotsman's wife bends over. The wind also takes her skirt over her head to reveal that she too, is naked under it. "Fur Jake's sake, Aggie! Where the friggin hell are yer drawers?", Duncan inquired. She too explains, "You dinnae give me enough money tae be able tae afford any." The Scotsman reaches into his pocket and says, "Well, fur the love 'o decency, here's a comb... Tidy yerself up a bit."
  3. A Famas F1 was my first AEG, I still remember buying it from a hobby shop in Edinburgh in 1995 ish, never realised how powerful it was and shot through a window at our farm. (lesson learnt). The only F2 I've seen was a shitty one from BBguns4less. needless to say... I bought one to hang on the wall. I guess consumer demand is what's popular & readily available, There are plenty of 'mature' collectors/skirmishers with disposable income that would warrant a limited run of a few thousand (worldwide) classics, personally I'd love an EM2 to skirmish with & there are plenty of other classics I'd love to own like an original style Calico, a multitude of WWII era affordable rif's and many many more.
  4. I had to youtube speedsofters, pretty much what I thought it was but seems a lot like spawn camping in first person shooters, surely if it's an issue at a site they can simply ban the practice?
  5. Would an M4 20 round (style) mag not work?
  6. That's a shame, I've only been twice so far but I work most weekends so not sure how many times I'll manage over the year.
  7. A little bit off topic but... Watch the 1980's TV series 'Tour of Duty', I recently bought the box set & binge watched it while on holiday. The series kinda struggles with new ideas for each episode but it's deffo worth watching.

  9. Have you attended the last couple of skirmishes?
  10. Possibly but I did drink plenty fluids between games, I was more likely to have been knackered due to my 21 stones, my 1968 birth date & a general unhealthiness but thanks for your concern.
  11. I've offered what I believe to be a fair price for quite a few rif's and the seller has stuck to their asking price (regardless of whether it's realistic or not), at the end of the day if it's too much for us then we either make an offer or not, sellers don't need to accept any lower offers... doesn't mean it's a scam tho. But... yeah I've noticed this advert getting posted several times too.
  12. This is for the A2 aswell
  13. Well, only my second skirmish & loved it again & knackered again... Played 4 games over the day (there were more after I left) and pleased to say our team won all 4 of those, even happier that I got as many kills as I got shot in each game. Spent most of my last game laying in wait to defend our base from bombers & despite lots of inactivity from me I was still knackered. Met some other newbies & we were all knackered but still seemed to enjoy the day. In game 1 & 2 I ran my trustyish polymer Scar-L & wore a new MTP 'battle belt' with molle pouches & felt a difference in weight imediately compared to my ebay PLCE purchase, but as I'm 6'4" tall and just as wide I still found myself stranded like a turtle with a great view of the treetops & blue skies after a tactical roll, a couple of handfulls of grass later I was back on my belly doing my best to look more like a slow moving shrubbery. Unfortunately I broke the folding stock of my Scar after that as I face planted while 'attacking' so it'll have some tactical gaffa tape on it's next outing (sure I have some snipers tape in a cupboard somewhere). Games 3 & 4 I'd planned to use my G36 and wearing a tactical vest I'd kitted out with G36 mag pouches (if you know, you know), but the G36 wasn't playing ball at the chrono (was told it was prob coz the mid caps were too full (another lesson learned)), so I swopped the mags for M4's and ran the broken Scar-L instead (playing with a folded stock or a wobbly stock wasn't ideal). Conclusions from today...? I'll need to put less bb's in my g36 mags & think I'll bring some high caps too next time as I still want to try my G36, found out I prefer playing in a belt kit to a vest, the lunchtime burger was pretty good but the biggest lesson learnt was... don't dry fire in the safe zone to test the battery even without a mag in (SORRY folks, my bad).
  14. Give us a shout if & when that happens.
  15. Light weight i saw a youtuber recommend sanitary towels to line the heel & the achilles, was gonna try this if my boots start bothering me.
  16. You need full MTP's & Osprey Mk4 body armour or Virtus (full kit), in all honesty tho there are plenty options on ebay, going to my second skirmish tomorrow & have already ditched the PLCE for something MUCH lighter, got modern PLCE to use with a SCAR-L & a 'tactical vest' with G36 mag pouches (they were a pain in the arse in plce) to use with a G36.
  17. I was in the 'SAS' in the 90's, do I get biscuit too? Ok, 'SAS' = Saturdays and Sundays But it was the Army catering Corps, we've killed more soldiers than anyone else... I'm assuming our own squaddies count.
  18. Thanks for this, I could never get the whole manual, was missing a few pages.
  19. FYI the correct RDS mount is available here... https://www.davescustomairsoft.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=Ares CNC Metal Sight Mount for SC-016 Series Scope (SM-013)
