  1. It's a rubber prop from Shoot & Scoot. https://shootandscoot.co.uk/products/fg42-hard-rubber-prop-rifle
  2. Holy shit Impulse, great reply. I can't help think a more fitting 'thank you' is required but I have crap communication skills so... Cool.
  3. That makes sense, however you haven't seen my girly throw.
  4. I'll let you know when I know edit... just .58 joules, avg 244fps on a 7.4 lipo
  5. Can someone in the 'know' explain to me the benefits & adaptions required to a rif depending on bb weight please? I can understand a heavier bb flying straighter & possibly further especially on windy days or even cutting through a bit of shrubbery but when I tried .3's on one game day it put my fps over the site limit but .2's were fine. I've read several forum members talking about adjusting their hop for different bb weights, is this common as I thought the hop was to add or reduce spin to improve flight. Thanks in advance.
  6. Is there a particular reason some barrels have CCW threads & others have CW? I can understand real steel having CCW threads as I can imagine the rotation of a round leaving the barrel might undo any suppressors, flash hiders etc but why on airsoft rif's? Do the manufacturers just want the extra adaptor sales or what?
  7. Well, where do I start..? Bought a HoneyBadger from the classifieds back in June & wanted to use it to strip down and rebuild as a first practice 'build' (remember my disappearing piston spring?), well I was going to buy a new (proper) gearbox for it but got a used M4 one from @HuttArmouries along with a few missing bits and bobs (selector switch, bolt catch, dust cover & prob a couple of other bits) but today I recieved some bits fron Dave's Custom Airsoft hense my long winded post... New 120 straight mag & battery cover. Those in the know will see the upper reciever sits a little high on the lower (I might still buy the correct gearbox after all).
  8. Everyone needs a hobby... you should see my vinyl collection.
  9. Use the meshgrid from feabay or shopfitting warehouse, I use loads of it & you can have it free standing if you don't want to secure it to a wall... or 2
  10. You get shot a lot anyway... especially when dead already.
  11. I've just ordered one from Dave's custom airsoft, only been a few days since I ordered it so not expecting delivery for a couple of weeks.
  12. there's a 552 for sale in the classifieds.
  13. As posted in the gun picture thread, a couple of new to me rifles & a new Mk23 socom.
  14. Not bold by any means but all rattle can jobs (except the blue one, remember... we don't talk about the blue one).
  15. A couple of new to me rifles & a brand spanking new Mk23 socom.
  16. Only £30 tho, nice find Ah, my mistake £65
  17. Regardless of the lack of replies it looks cool & you obviously like it so do what makes you happy, if anyone on here had one or even has an opinion on it you'd know about it(apart from my reply of course). Might take longer than 24hrs to get a better response tho.
