Could also be that you’re using gas thats too strong so the slide travels back and forth too fast to lock back.

As Rostock… above mentioned, be aware that TM pistols have plastic slides due to japanese firearm laws. They are great for actuall games. But if you’re goin for realistic backyard plinking at short distances you’d be better of with a metal slide. Go for something cheap that appeals to you, like a WE or KJW. Or even a Vorsk. At 10ft it doesnt really matter. As for lubricants just go with something Ptfe or lithium for metal on metal, silicone grease for plastic parts, dont overdo it. Have a read around, dont spray your entire gun with silicone oil. As for bb weight, well for garden plinking it doesnt matter much, .25 will do more then fine unless your garden is huge.

Could be that the magazine spring has started to loose some tension.

When you say nothing happens, do you also mean that the slide doesnt cycle?
-
Nothing is unbreakable, ”upgrade” or not. The glue solution probably wont last long. Besides, if something is to break, you want it to be in the bbu, preferably the nozzle. Easy and cheap to replace. Don’t spend crazy money on a ”superreinforcedmetalyadidady-meganozzle” just to have something else, more expensive in your gbb soak up the pressure and break.

I mean the small pin at the end of the spring. The spring works fine without it. Or maybe I misunderstod

G17 P80/Razorback Wanted to build something really aggressive after my latest kind of plain gen2 glock. This was the result. TM G17 gen3 donorgun. And I kind of dislike rmrs on pistols but somehow it feelt right to put one on this little monster.

Sounds strange. I run autobot 50s with I keys and crazy jets in several of my glock builds and they work great. Granted I usually go with the stock TM chamber. But I have at least one glock with the ML chamber and an autobot with no issues. edit: The MR rubber is also good imho
-
If the pistol works and cycles as it should I wouldn’t mess with the hammer assembly. Wait til something brakes. A stronger hammer spring might introduce new cycling problems and should really only be installed if the pistol is light striking. Nice beefy mount btw! Truly horrendous
-
I’ve found that an autobot 50 rubber with an I-key does the job pretty well
-
Personally I don’t see the point in using anything heavier than .28s in a pistol. But yes, a Maple leaf hop and rubber with an I-key will boost hop performance greatly.

Black Vintage Infinity hi capa slide

I use a lot of guarder stuff when building pistols and don’t have any major problems. I have no experience on the particular slide you mentioned but don’t see why there would be problems based on it being a guarder one. Don’t think there’s any need for you to worry. I say go.. Also never had any problems using steel outer barrels with alu slides. If anything I like the extra weight added towards the front of the pistol since gbbs mostly are unbalanced with all the weight towards the back in the mag. -

So before I used a tekmat when fiddlin my glocks. Which is kind of crap since the tekmat is black/dark grey and all the tiny screws and springs are also black. So today I got this in the mail from ali. About 10£ posted. Light blue soldering mat. Got magnetic compartments and all. No more wasting fiddlintime looking for a screw!
