  1. Is there anyone with a 3D printer who could help me out with printing a spare/replacement part. I can't find direct replacements online and get no response from the manufacturer.

    Ty.

      @GenuineGerman It's a hop up adapter allowing you to use standard M4 hop units on Tar 21/Tavor styled AEGs. The one I have has a broken hop unit and I cannot find a replacement to save my life so this is the next best thing. Thingiverse link here for you to have a look at.

  2. Is £150 for a TM Mk23 (no mods), 3x gas tight TM mags, LAM, Suppressor, Case and holster a good deal?

      @Cr0-Magnon

      The gun is in very good condition. Little to no wear visible. £150 is including PayPal and postage. The holster is a 3D printed "Ebog" one.

  3. Anyone regularly use FBS Ball Grenades?  i brought 3 from jdairsoft, and on two of them the fuse blew when i pulled the ring and didnt dentonate beyond.  only 1 out of 3 worked... bit of an unreasonable failure rate

      Never had an issue with FBS ball grenades not going off.  I believe the ring pull pyro need to be pulled in a specific direction/way to ignite properly which is why I stick with the striker top version. I made velcro patches of striker paper I put on my gear so even if I lose the striker top of the grenade, I can still light it.

  4. Are Revision anti-fog wipes supposed to be... dry?

    1. MrTea

      MrTea

      Mine are always bone dry, no residue or oiliness. I breathe on my lens to mist it up and then use the wipes on it.

  5. so tired of fogging up my ess crossbows. Mostly through sweat from my head. Anyone have any good suggestions?

      MrTea

      Revision anti-fog wipes are some kind of magic and/or witchcraft for how well they work. I use the wipes and an Exfog and I get zero fogging on full seal goggles even when sweating.

  6. Hi all. Just need some extra eyes for something.

    Can you guys take a look at this picture and tell me if these gearboxes/trigger mechanisms look the same/identical?

      MrTea

      I'm planning to buy a speed trigger unit for the R85A1 (to reduce the horrid trigger travel) but the manufacturer says it only works on the G&G versions despite them appearing to be identical and taking into consideration that the AA R85 is a clone of the G&G one?

      God are you kidding? I thought they'd all moved to a online/phone based system. Oh well, at work until Friday anyway so that'll probably work out fine for me

      Just got an email this morning. Package has been released by customs and tracking should update soon. Might even get it by the end of the week. No additional paperwork required.

      It's with Parcelforce who are waiting on an email reply (possibly checking UKARA info?) before it gets released. Being a bank holiday weekend, I doubt it's going to move very quick.

      From a site called "Bulldog-Army.com" Initially I thought they were a bit sus but they had paypal as a payment option so I took the chance. I sent a couple of messages to their support and never received a reply so I might just end up with a box of rocks :D

      Been on the phone with Parcelforce and they're waiting on a reply to an email they've sent (they didn't so who they sent it to or what they were asking). Left them my UKARA info anyway but they never provided any kind of declaration to fill out.

  12. Does anyone actually manufacture a GALIL anymore? cant find stock or a second hand one anywhere.

      MrTea

      ICS one in stock here https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metal-galil-icar-ar-airsoft-gun-aeg

      Only place I can find in Europe with the wooden handguard is Germany so it's single fire and too powerful for our limits IIRC.

  13. Does anyone have experience ordering a RIF from HK recently? I'm looking at ordering one within the next few weeks and don't want my package getting seized or held up at any point. Advice appreciated.

      What kind of risk are we looking at, cash and RIF lost or just RIF lost and cash claimed back?

      Can confirm it's almost instant. When I got my UKARA, the site owner processed our info on the morning and by lunch we had our membership cards with UKARA numbers on them.

  15. Are Ohshiboom still operating their site? Just ordered a 12 gauge adapter from there but the site looks like it hasn't been updated in a long time.

    1. MrTea

      MrTea

      Hi again all. Apologies for not checking back sooner. I wrote my question before I rushed off to work so i'll add some additional context below;

      So i've ordered an Ohshiboom for indoor site use (cannot be bothered losing expensive BFG at an outdoors site and the BFG is more cost effective). I was informed that BFGs can use different calibre of blank/primer which have produce a different sound pitch and Db level with .209 primer being quietest or on a similar noise level to regular pyro with 12 gauge being on the opposite end. I was told it's "slightly" louder than regular pyro but produces more of a low pitched "boom" rather than a higher pitched "crack" of the other blanks/primers.

      Clearly, this person was underselling how loud 12g is, especially when the noise if amplified by being in rooms/enclosed spaces. Looks like i'll be sticking with the .209 primer base it comes standard with.

      Thanks for the info all and forgive my ignorance.
