BreadyC got a reaction from J phillips in Was sold a gun on behalf of his friend. Would not recommend
Ngl @Aidennn2002 you sound like the asshole here, granted @J phillipsdidn’t know or inform you of the repair/upgrade made to the gun but it was significantly reduced in its price… what did you expect? A fully appraised, well documented gun would be a lot more than £180 so sounds like you got what you paid for and screwed @J phillips for basically no reason other than two files screws which aren’t a big deal…

BreadyC got a reaction from JustMark in Off back up North for the weekend at Camelot this coming weekend, excited to tick 'pl
I was probably one of the last people to see it in a near complete condition, I have photos from about 7-ish years ago from when me and a friend went exploring around there, it would have been perfect for airsoft then. Though there were numerous things which would be an absolute non-starter for airsoft, including but not limited to:

    - A HUGE hole in the walkway between the Jousting Arena and the rest of the Park
    - Impassable collapsed bridge across to the old pub, pagoda looking thing
    - A deadly drop in the playhouse (which is one of the only buildings left standing today) where the slide had been removed.
    - Removed decking where ride stations used to be making them a cross hatch of beams over a deadly drop

Today, almost everything I saw is gone, I’m really not sure what we’re going to be fighting over.

I’ve attached some of the photos I took them years ago.

This is the last main building standing we’ll be fighting over this weekend

Here is the deadly drop where the slide used to be in the play area in there, doubt it’s still there.

@BreadyC it's a good thing to have the barrel locked down that well, for accuracy.

it's an annoying operation for sure.

i tend to find right hand fingers down on the cylinder, hold it in position.

once you've got the spring guide in it's notch in the lower half, you can use a screwdriver through the hole in the back to hold it angled slightly down usually stops it jumping free (most gearboxes have a rear hole for this, although i've met ones that don't) leaving your right hand sufficiently free to pick up and place the gearbox casing.

really difficult to describe with words, it's the kinda thing you just have to pick up by feel but hopefully that made at least a little sense.

of course it's exactly at that last point that the trigger, anti reversal latch or both jump free, forcing you to reset.

the anti reversal latch in particular hates playing ball, always loves to jump free at the last minute. backing the geartrain into it can provide just enough tension to stop this, or if it's a real bugger then a magnet on the underside will hold it down for you.

Eh. I "joined" years ago, but never got a single email. I very occasionally see something from them on Failbook, usually a week after the event they're promoting has already happened. If there's a way to get more engaged, it's not obvious.

It seems like a club run by and for those who run the club.

Good man.they are dependant on membership subscriptions in order to carry on the work to ensure the future of Airsoft.

I've been a member for about seven years and attended some of the AGM game days that they organise.( None since the covid hit) ☹️

I'm not too sure of numbers but I think it's quite high.
You will be able to find out membership numbers on their site I'm sure...👍

BreadyC reacted to Rogerborg in Is it just me or do Krytac make a concious effort to make their shit ever so slightly
Could be worse, apocryphally the TM MP7 is Oompa Loompa sized because TM scaled it based on pictures of an MP7, plus its specified length... which excluded the stock flash hider.

    Nope sounds about right !
what you must remember is in the real world ‘multi product compatibility’ means things are interchangeable between said products , where as in airsoft ‘multi product compatibility’ means “f**k it they look the same , good enough” 🤦‍♂️
