  1. With all due respect but there has been numerous posts like this in the airgun community involving the use of a yellow pages phone book with similar replies to this thread. The only way is to use a proper chrono as various factors have effects on velocities.
  2. After doing some googling, it has all the stampings of a tm mp5 minus the made in Japan and tm. The rail clamps on by 4 vertical arranged hex bolts and little rectangular nuts. It has the markings shown in this link. http://www.airsoftretreat.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=142
  3. I hope it is!!!!! I'd be very lucky if it is!!!!!
  4. Ok the fire selector markings are as follows..... 7 red bullet symbols for auto, one red bullet for s/a and a single white bullet crossed out and all have a thin line surrounding each, there's a marking "kal 9mmX19" on the left side of the mag well. Why does it matter? Simple really ... Should I decide to sell at any point I won't get a fair price if I type "unknown" as a brand. The previous owner did say it was a classic army but no YouTube video showed a ca bt with this type of hop, I hope it is a CA though. I have just seen on the base of the pistol grip type EG700 MP5series, does that help?
  5. Hmmmm there's a jg mp5 with a hop like I described. Seems like a modified jg!
  6. No sorry, it has no slots in the handguard, standard sliding stock and a standard looking lower receiver, can't seem to find any distinguishing marks.
  7. Hi guys, does anyone know what mp5 has a metal upper, sliding hop on the left in front of the receiver, torch in the handguard, 3 position retractable stock please? It's not a b&t as it has no sliding dust cover. Atb Andy
  8. Would love to see the results if he tried that on russian police officers, they wouldn't shoot him..... They might just laugh and walk away after punching his lights out!
  9. Defective sample of the human gene pool here, feel sorry for any kids he has!
  10. I used blasters but recently I have been using rocket bb's in .28 and they are really impressive as the grouping seems to be tighter so I will be trying the .36gr.
  11. Ah well that didn't work although it did stop it for a little while, research shows the fixing pin works loose over time causing a leak to start around that area, looks like a silicone sealant job!
  12. Hi guys , basically I need to know if my WE M92 can handle the extra power of Co2? If site info says it will up the fps to about 350, I don't want it breaking my gun. Thanks guys
  13. I had to remove a little from the end of the catch, doesn't need much to get it to lock in.
  14. As above really, on holiday in Whitby area next month and want to see if there's an airsoft shop in the area! Atb Andy
  15. I was given some one wrap ptfe tape and gas sealing paste from work so I will try that in the mag base.
  16. I would like to say thankyou to the guys for their help, I stripped the cylinder, cleaned it and regreased the internals with white lithium grease and it's so much smoother and just needs running in. Thanks very much guys!!!!!!
  17. Well after using a leak detector, I found it's that base seal that's knackered,, I move the base fixing pin and the leak gets worse!
  18. Hi guys, just picked up a lovely example of a WE Luger and the first few mags seemed ok but then trying it the following day the mag leaked. I placed my thumb over the fill valve and the hiss changed tone. I tried a new o ring, ptfe tape on the threads and used gas seal compound and it still leaked so it seems like another seal is missing or failed
  19. Upon closer examination the cylinder and piston is made by mosquito mold if that means anything to you guys?
  20. Try backing the stock screw nearest the trigger off a bit. Seen this on spring air rifles where a screw was too long and block the trigger mech off.
  21. As far as I can see , cylinder piston and spring, the hop seems to be working fine even on minimum hop, .28gr bb's climb at about 10 yards.
  22. He fitted an upgraded cylinder!
  23. Hi guys, just acquired a tm vsr10 possibly a g spec and the gun wasn't used for a few years so the bolt upon cocking is very stiff to push forward. Would this be a case of relubing the cylinder internals and what would be the best lubes to use? Thanks Andy
  24. Voted for all of them, they all deserve a vote!
