Take a look at j s ramsbottom for scopes, they have cheap deals on scopes that have been returned and there's nothing wrong with them. Their scopes have various illuminated rets on their own branded range and usually come with a choice of mounts of 11mm or 20mm and I think they supply springed lens covers too.

I think the combat machine range represents a great package for the novice or as a back up/project. I have just bought a JG steyr AU-5G sniper but take the barratt style flash hider/half outer barrel and fit another flash hider and it becomes a real stunner with a good rate of fire but the battery storage is a pain, just another option for you!

I use 7.4v lipos in all my guns and I fit deans plugs too as tamiya plugs are just outdated and really don't help the battery to get the power through.

I think I might cut the trigger contact wires and solder the signal wires to them.

How do I get the trigger contact block out?

Hi guys, today I got my UAR back and I have decided to use it as a DMR, I have replaced the weedy standard motor for a tornado f1 hi torque motor which had made the gun shoot more like my real sword now here's is my issue. The fire selector problem is down to the front cover fouling the mechanical linkage, when I took the front cover off,the trigger travelling the full length of travel but the gun fires in semi auto so I think it might be the selector on the gearbox? Secondly I have tried to remove the barrel and hop unit to upgrade the hop rubber, I got removed the 3 hop fixing screws and the 2 in front of those 3, undone the large plastic nut but I can't take it out...... Any ideas please ? Atb Andy

And remember female plugs go on the batteries, males for the gun. You don't want the contacts exposed on the batteries for obvious reasons.

Update on the pistol grip: an element ak74 grip fits a treat after the location tabs have been removed.... Now just for the stock tube and handguard:)

I don't use full auto much but nice to have it , will see how easy it is to fit my MOSFET. How easy is it to fit a gate nano sst?

Well I didn't open the gun up as the plugs are in the back of the gun, oh well it will make a good dmr!

the gun developed a fire selector fault(full auto wouldn't let the trigger operate), I did change the plugs but that's all. the supplier is refusing to sort the aps yar out unless I pay to hav it sent to Japan and to have the wiring replaced... 3 months wait too including labour charges!

does changing plugs on a new gun voud any warranties?

I was thinking That the rs56-2 uses a polymer grip but I cant find those for sale anywhere.

hi guys, I'm thinking of replacing my rs56 furniture for some modern tactical polymer furniture and having friends in America gives me some easy options. I need to know if I can use a standard ak74 style pistol grip, does the motor present any problems? thanks andy

Yes very disappointed but I have returned it to my retailer and he is sending it back and he agrees with you that the selector is the likely suspect. Hopefully I will get it sorted soon. However if the full auto fails again, I will fit a stronger spring, upgrade the hop rubber and fit a longer tb barrel and use it as a DMR. At 40 yards every shot was hitting my mate

I got my uar a few weeks ago and on the first out to my gun range the full auto just ceased to work after less than a 1000 shots,is this a record?

looking to change to gas because operating the bolt is smoother and much lighter.
