Gents, I think this is a new one… I can’t find any references in the pages yet. I have a MWS Carbine and frankly I like it that way, old man, old school, happy days. However the quality of the Carbine hand guard and stock is crap! Creaky nasty wobbly nonsense. I assume because the Carbine is a cheap way to get In the platform and those parts are almost placeholders for the proper bits once modified. what I would appreciate help to understand is; can anyone tell me where to get high quality bits that are a drop in fit but basically look the same? Is that a thing or am I misunderstanding something? or are Carbine hand guards and AR15 stocks just a bit nasty and creaky even on real steel? Thanks in advance

*Edit* Did the tabs mod, took 30 seconds and no biros required or damage was done! great explanation and diagrams! Chicken meet egg. seems like someone brave needs to make the change. Like you say hopefully it’s begun

Thanks very much for all the information, I should be able to sort this out. Ref Deans, I do understand it’s commonly accepted this is the correct way to go, but between my gun and my two lads, and the two batteries per guns (and spares)…. I know it isn’t the end of the world but more of a ‘round-to-it’ job. When I bought my first gun, charger and Lipo I didn’t care what I had, it was only a couple of years ago and would have done anything I was told. Why the guys didn’t push me towards deans I don’t know? In fact… the same question could be asked about why they still make RIFs with mini Tamiya when there is a better way. Now I’m down that path and need to make the effort to put it right. Amazing support though men thanks! This is a great Forum.

Sorry for Spamming you gents, I know it’s on here somewhere but I cannot find it. So I have my Sky RC T100 and I’ve been struggling, I’ve read on other threads that you can’t just connect the battery because Airsoft battery’s are reversed to RC Batteries and there is some sort of Biro mod where you poke a connection out and swap it. the links in the previous threads are dead. I’ve broken a few things trying to self resolve. please help, I’ve had this charger on my desk for a couple of weeks now collecting dust. where am I sticking this biro?

Hi, I need some help please. Relatively new to the sport and I’ve been coping just fine with my cheapo balance charger I have to watch like a hawk and unplug as soon as it goes green. it’s fine for topping up batteries but I’ve become aware of the need to put them in storage charge when left for long periods and I only play infrequently. I’ve also accumulated lots of batteries as I’ve tried different things so half them need to be discharged. I bought a cheap charger /discharger off Amazon with good reviews but it’s utter sheeeite and I’m sending it back. Whats the sweet spot between cost/ease of use/ functionality. I don’t want to burn cash but I want a good one. many suggestions welcome. many thanks

That’s a serious bit of kit there Sir. Looks the balls. So 90% of these 226 pages are people recommending and getting the Six Nub. They don’t have any and aren’t making them so I plan to do the “ram something solid into the TM nub” mod. All videos seem to be on CQBR and MWS barrel removal to access. Any tips? Clearly you’ve had yours off more than once lol Plastic mag? Is that the one with the extra 5 rounds? Are you a fan? Seems some complain about performance? even your grenades/smoke look cool. Bravo. Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. Question: what’s the difference with the TM MK18 GBB Which is Zet system but doesn’t seem to be tagged MWS? Do all of your helpful tips and tricks also work for that (ie are the internals the same?) I presumed they are like all NGRS are the same apart from rails, colours and prices! and pulled the trigger on a MK18 but I’m having a wobble. Have I cocked up? Why do none of you have one?
