  1. Next to impossible to find any metal bodied 249 variants any more. I knew I'd regret selling mine last year. 😂

  2. Yeah, £1.2k is a little over my budget haha. Edit: after looking around a bit more, buying an A&K m249 preowned and building it up is the best option, albeit slightly incorrect in some areas of appearance.
  3. Other than the Lambda MK48, do any other metal body replicas exist of the MK48? Or am I better off getting an A&K m249, fixing it’s short list of problems and “converting” it?
  4. Avoid lancer tactical for sure. Cyma AK's are amazing for their price point, I can only assume their other platforms are the same. I know for a fact their M16A1 is great. If you're looking at the M4 platform, the E&C MK18 is also a really good entry budget rifle from what I've heard. Same for the arcturus M4 series. Specna Arms also are a great budget friendly company, recently picked up their edge 2.0 HK416 when PB had their tanuary sale and I'm in love with it (Although it's over your budget they do offer cheaper ones with less upgrades) Double eagle M9 series of M4's are also meant to be really good, never had one or seen one personally but based on reviews seem good. Plus the optical MOSFETs installed will help the longevity of said rifle. If the budget can be stretched slightly, Cyma platinum is a worthy investment imo.

    Emags and DD rail

Might be worth mentioning the DD rail won't fit without extensive modification. Just to save somebody from buying it only to then realize it won't work on their L85.
  7. If it's anything like their Grach, expect them to re-release it 3 times each time "fixing" the faults of the previous. I've given up with them fixing the grach at this point...
  8. Fellow big lad here, I got my MTP trousers from cadet direct a long time ago. I believe they was labelled as "instructors", so big sizes definitely do exist. As for shirts, no idea haha.
  9. Based on the constant reddit posts; Poor quality control - "They’re a scummy company, selling these poor quality guns to new players by getting reviewers and stores to sing their praises, often with large sums of cash through “sponsorships”" "They sold unsafe eye protection that they lied and claimed was impact rated, for his their CEO was publicly arrested. They’ve since taken off the fake rating, but are still selling the unsafe eye protection" But it's reddit, so... take it with as much salt as you want. 😂
  10. £420 for a rif that might be brand new, or you can get a certified brand new one with warranty for £280 from LWA... Decisions, decisions...
  11. Me too for the past year and a half. 😂 The “wood” looks amazing though. Did you make the files yourself?
  12. SWIT are rather... Variable. I've known people that bought from them with absolutely no issues multiple times, however my only experience with them was purchasing a Kar98K. I paid the cheapest shipping, like they said to do then got an email to confirm payment etc. A week on, no information on the shipping, sent them an email and waited about a week for a response telling me I needed to pay nearly half of the shipping (Which was about another £50 iirc) I'd already paid to have the rifle dispatched. I asked them to cancel the order and refund at this point, which then never happened. I had to go through Paypal to get my money back, and refuse to use them after that which is a shame as they have some nice stuff. As for location, they're in Taiwan.
  13. Contact green bean gear if no luck, no doubt they can source.
  14. I keep seeing this listed and keep wondering who made it as it’s a and I quote “very high quality” - it looks like a SOF Mitchell & Liner (which is the wrong post war type) with either a good repro or an original chinstrap. Excluding the shells and cards your asking price is the same as SOF, except theirs is brand new.
  15. Does it have to be TM? I have one (iirc) that’s the same but with surefire trade marks.
  16. My apologies, I had no idea they was so hard to come by in the UK now! Only last year they was readily available at a multitude of retailers. At the time WGC was still the cheapest too. In retrospect £200 is a good price so I retract my previous post. Glws!
  17. £200 for a UGL you can get brand new for £140 from wgc 😂
  18. Finally "completed" my Afghan spec L85. Just ignore the cable ties holding the DD rail on 😂 Still not found a way to secure the RS rail to the WE

  19. Ant has the 3d printed rail fitted acog mount, 2013_dmyt on ebay has 3d printed dovetail acog mounts. The metal ones are impossible to find now, as they're out of production and the last batch was a fair few years ago.
  20. Is this the plastic one?
  21. The Army Armament L85 Gas block was surprisingly a good fit with little work required. It was only a few MM out from fitting flush, however I removed a little more than was needed to make the rail easier to slide on and off. Haven't had the time to work out how I'm going to secure the gas block to the barrel yet, probably grub screws to create a biting point but the process is getting closer to completion, thank god.
