So patrol base put it down as an air leak. They stated that they had: Replaced the hop rubber, piston o ring and a stiffer spring. FPS On 0.2bb: 345 However, chrono'ing today yielded a whopping 203 on .20g bb's Using it throughout the day today, every shot was veering off in various directions or just dropping to the floor in front of me, and every roughly 5th or 6th shot (after a normal hopped shot) being on target and hopping as it should have done. Moving the rotary dial didn't seem to make any difference at all. I plan to also fit a prommy purple which isn't on the list as it's out of stock at bullseye so will look elsewhere. Really I just want to get the rifle shooting great now, so I don't have to worry about it later on down the line and know I have a reliable rifle for game days. 😂

Hey guys, put together an upgrade list for the Umarex HK416A5 AEG patrolbase supposedly "fixed" after having a giant fps leak. (Spoiler, it's still useless) On a budget after buying the gun, patrolbase have said they can't do anything further so I'm on my own now. Just want to make sure all of this is satisfactory, or if any of the parts are bad and should be replaced with x, y or z I'm not looking to make it a high ROF gun or outrange snipers etc, just want it to function decently so I can enjoy using it and not have to worry about bb's falling to the floor 5 metres in front of me (Thanks pb, it's definitely fixed...) I appreciate any help, suggestions and insight from you fine people!

They was only £100 when they was new... Sure, they're out of stock but given the state of it and it being galaxy I can't imagine that it's genuinely worth £100 or am I missing something?

No. I've looked at most of the youtube videos, and that's the video linked from the seller in the items description. He just effortlessly pushes them in, and it's absolute bullsh*t! 😂 I sent the guy a message on ebay and he's offered to fit them for me as long as I pay return postage so fingers crossed. 😁

Had these bloody poly lenses for about a year now, and every now and then try to fit them into my s10 and every time end up with sore thumbs, a lot of swearing and still no lenses replaced. Anybody done the conversion and want to share some tips on getting the bleedin' outer rings back onto the s10 gas mask lenses? Tried warming them up in boiling water, microwave, putting it face down on the table and pressing etc... Picture isn't mine, obviously. If it was, I wouldn't be asking

To be fair, it's about the same height as on my Z mount for the A2. Just mines more... aesthetically pleasing (Not me trying to still justify the cost 😭)

Ask an airsofter that looks friendly about their gun, even if you think it looks like shite. No doubt they'd love to chat about it, and then you're already a foot in the door!

Excuse my ignorance, but other than stating they'll have a website up soon, what stands out as them definitely being a retailer?

My guess is because Ukara requires a payment as a physical retailer to check defence and to my knowledge only retailers (Including sites) can access the Ukara database directly - Meaning, they're wanting to set up a shop, and get the customers to essentially "chip in" so to speak on the cost to access the database.

Any idea if you could modify one of these denix models to fire the shotgun shells? Would love an airsoft musket...

I used the supplied high cap, my own PTS midcap, and also a nuprol mid cap. Same issue regardless. I called them today and they're accepting a return to have the issue fixed, which I'm fine with. Due to the scuffs from having optics mounted they can't refund me, which is fair enough. If I got a refund I'd only end up ordering another one anyway 😂

Hey, I use "NUPROL Battle Pro" and have done for the past few years. They have an "insert" version, which you can take to specsavers etc and have them fit your prescription into them. I believe it cost me about £36 for the prescription to be put in, they do a range of colours too and they're not expensive. I believe they also make goggles with inserts, if that's more your style.

Yeah I’m gonna give them a few days with it being the weekend & bank holiday, then give them a ring Tuesday. It’s definitely a first for me too, I’ve never had an issue with any pistol or rifle like this where the fps has major inconsistency. You’d think at £500 almost it might have some good QC lol Hopefully it’s something simple and they can get it sorted for me or replace it 🤞🏻

That's my main concern too, the fps variation is awful. I was chronoing on .20g bb's yes. I cleaned the barrel out earlier and it took 6 pieces of cloth to clean it, and the FPS was a little bit more consistent, but still low. I actually have the "Specna Arms SA-H21 EDGE 2.0" and it's absolutely fantastic, but wanted to upgrade to something with full trades because I'm a sucker for authenticity. Sadly it seems I've got a lemon, because reviews I've seen all say how good the Umarex A5 is. Externally it's all I could ask for too. I'm hoping PB will respond and allow me to send it back to them to have whatever issue(s) it has sorted out, but I put my optics etc onto the rifle so it has signs of use already, hopefully they won't refuse to touch it because of that. 🤞
