Hi All, As i have just been mugged off on Ebay for some PMR's by a seller, I thought i would start a thread about the Good, the Bad and the downright ugly. So please share your experiences on ebay. Cheers

Hi Mate, That's a difficult one. If i were interested i would prefer to know it was working. Bit like buying a car, you'd buy one with a recent service over one that didn't have a recent service. The problem is the quality of the service ie will the tech that does it do a good job or will they half arse it. Then if you sell with it service and it doesn't work the person that buys it will be annoyed and you will have wasted £100. Doesn't really help answer your question to be honest so to pin me down personally i would sell without and put all the risk on the buyer (make sure your state that when selling) as long as the price is fair. and if it doesn't work at all then make sure you state that as well but you will take a hit on the price.

You really have to view this as someone who has no interest in airsoft or has no connection to airsoft and may want to get into it. you see what’s happening what conclusions do you come to?

I bought this up again as i think we should all know what is happening whilst we merrily just ignore it. And whilst we ignore what is happening these clowns will decide the future of the sport whilst we just ignore it. So if you want to ignore please do but don't complain when airsoft ends up in the news for the wrong reasons. we as sensible players should contribute and not hope it just goes away

Unfortunately I don't think this is one of those case where if we ignore it it will just go away. These sort of characters ((I use this in the loosest possible terms) not singling out KM either, i mean all of these numpties) have a lot of sway within the sport thanks to there social platforms. Something that we don't have but what we have as a community is a voice to change this by working together to say stop please portray our sport in a positive light. I don't mean lets light the torches or dust off the pitch forks but there needs to be a dialogue. I have said in the past if you don't like the content don't watch it but I'm starting to think maybe by doing that I'm just burying my head in the sand and not realising how serious the implication is of what this situation can cause. Thankfully the media hasn't picked up on it and i doubt it will however just imagine if it does? the images of the Sun or Daily fail plastering images across the internet with captions such as "Innocent Game or Paramilitary Training Camps?" honestly scares me. Not trying to be alarmist as hopefully this episode quietens down quickly but it will only happen again.

However this doesn't absolve the public of their responsibility as well. To be honest i agree the government have be caught short and have made some blundering decisions however i don't think any party of any persuasion would have done any better i also agree i don't see why we can't go back to any to pre covid normal. Most textiles are made in China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Doesn’t mean it’s bad quality actually they make some quality textiles just check the designer clothes some might wear

I completely agree with you the majority of people have stuck to the rules which is great but a significant minority haven't be that because they think its a hoax, think they don't have a responsibility to their fellow citizens or some other delusional reasoning. This isn't just one case of people ignoring the rules its constant. Why do i play by the rules, because i want this end as much as everyone else but if all us don't play by the rules this will last for a lot longer. Peace to you as well

That not the point really, there was guidance in place that involved social distancing and i really didn't see it being done. You also cite the Guardian and they say that this couldn't have caused a "super spreader event". I think knowing what we know now this is probably wrong.

Vaccination should be everyone's choice and you should also not be discriminated against if you choose not too. However you know it will be used against you.

As you said every one can catch and pass it on however if you are at a higher risk group you have higher change of it causing more damage and it killing you. The vaccine is supposed to stop it being as serious but still doesn't prevent it if i have understood that correctly so by that reasoning if higher and lower risk groups mingle you should have a balance of symptoms where everyone roughly has it that same on average. If you start having certificates to allow people in events for example football, airsoft, music events and thus effectively prevent a large part of the population going out is just seems a bit unfair to me. I've have probably just over thought it and thinking worst case.

Im in the Lowest risk group which would mean i might not be completely vaccinated until August/October. I understand the need to wait however if they start rolling out vaccine certificates most of the population still wouldn't be allowed out. Seems a little unfair to me.

I personally prefer PC's. You can pick up Ospreys fairly cheaply off ebay etc and they are milspec so will last. The Warrior Assault Systems are very nice and I would say i really cost affective alternative to the top like a Crye AVS. For me its about value for money and for £40-50 i would personally get a Osprey with a few pouches that you know will last for your first one. if you dont like it someone will always buy it. Im looking to buy the Warrior Laser Cut Low profile V2 soon as this look like a great alternative to the JPC 2.0.
