The answer is brand and generation specific. Theres many brands of CNC metal slides. There’s also multiple generations of glock. So you need to be more specific.

Spent about £100-300 with them every month. Their stock system is better than most of HK retailers to be fair… but it takes about a week for them to pack your order and then 2 weeks to deliver…

I don’t think Wiitech make a -13.5mm supressor. I might be wrong? Anyway, the threads are the same pitch, so a tracer with a standard Airsoft thread (-14mm) will fit. The 0.5mm difference doesn’t cause a problem.

To be fair, the Marui gen5 mos isn’t a re-release, it’s a completely new design internally. Massive improvements. Even the gen4 was a half decent improvement over the gen3.

Just be careful, there’s at least one scammer who operates in this forum using wanted ads to target people. I’ve experienced it twice now where they’ve tried to sell me a Marui gen5 MOS. The red flag is that they want payment in bank transfer or PayPal F&F. Each time as well, they’ve used photos from Google. So reverse image searching will quickly tell you if it’s a scam.

keep an eye out on the forums for a second hand ones. Might cost you a bit more than £163 but you’ll get one. also *if* Impulse 101 honour their orders, you might see a few on the U.K. market in the months coming. if you’re after a gen5 - GHK might be the best option. They’ve just released a gen5 mos. Easier to get hold of compared to the gen5 Marui. The WE “gen5” systems are just gen3 Marui systems with the gen5 trades.

So this exact rumour was used in 2016/17 in the US to explain why Tokyo Marui couldn’t sell glocks in the US. We’ll have to see. If it goes like last time, they’ll pause production for 12-24 months then carry on as normal.

We’ll have to see. Until I see something specific and credible, I’ll be hopeful. I remember near identical rumours going around from people in the industry when UMAREX acquired the rights.

You can still buy them from Airsoft World? we’ll have to see how it goes - Asian airsoft companies are famed for ignoring trademarks and license. I haven’t seen anything in the news about it but maybe I’m not looking hard enough.

saw this. i was going to do some videos and how to’s but i struggle for time to film and time to edit. so far is disassembled mine down to springs and screws and reassembled. Daunting at first but it makes sense now.

G17 Gen 3, 4, 5: Mags inner barrels hop rubbers hop tensioners (ML I-Bar) G17 Gen4, 5: recoil springs hop arm G19 Gen3 and Gen4, G17 Gen5 Hop unit That’s about it. Basically everything else in the Gen5 is different. Even the pins in the hammer mechanism are different.

so got the GHM9 MP9 lower and a few mags. the LD mags are crazy light. I reckon they’re as light if not lighter than my prowin glock mags. it feels like they’ve improved the trigger mechanism and also the bolt travel. It’s generally an improvement. i now have two lowers and a G series bolt that I can keep and interchange 👌🏽

you probably want a gen3 or gen4 frame done? Have a look at Boomarms and ArmsAholics for pre-stippled frames. Having tried a few - IMO ArmsAholic are the best. But boomarms offer a large variety of stippling - for example for a Wilson combat frame boomarms do it. No one else does right now. If you essentially want a Salient or agency arms style job done, I’d recommend ArmsAholics.

A bunch of bits arrived from HK to test. more JDG magwells, cowcow guide rod angry gun RMR mounts. the JDG magwells are frustrating. They look great, but you have to take a dremel to the inside of the Magwell so that it doesn’t compress the Magwell. If you don’t, it grips the Magwell making it hard to remove the magazine. CCT guide rod arrives pre assembled and all you have to do is install the short strokes if you desire. Easy to install. Angry gun rmr mount is solid 👍🏽
