  1. So it fits exactly as I’d hoped! I just need to modify the design slightly to allow for a longer inner barrel to be fitted.
  2. So right now it’s a Lighter S, but for a similar reason, it failed on me, so it’s not costing my anything to cut and grind it down to fit. I’m able to run power through it to check I’m not shorting or disconnecting anything… but functionally it’s U/S. Acetech have also informed me that the Lighter S and the Lighter C are discontinued so my next Acetech option would be the lighter R. I’ve been recommended to look at the Xcortech or G&G equivalent. If either of them fit and are reliable, I’ll probably go with that. Got a second round of prototypes out of the printer. Will test them tonight. Ones a barrel extension stabiliser and thread adapter. The other is the tracer adapter with a protective front face.
  3. I’m working on a barrel extension/ stabiliser kit for the FMG9. It should have printed today, so I’ll be collecting it tomorrow ?
  4. A little while ago, I got an AFG-9. The AEGIS TM spec one. I thought “wouldn’t it be cool if you could fit a tracer in that internal dead space”… Long story short (and several dead tracers later), I have a working prototype. it’s a removable unit that fits in the space between the charging handle and the front of the kit. It’s been challenge as there’s not a lot of space between the front of the kit and front of the charging handle slide racker. I plan to sell these as a complete drop in kit for those who have an AEGIS AFG-9 in the U.K. However I still have refine the design and see which tracers can be modified to fit internally. I’m also working on a thread adapter that doubles as an inner barrel stabiliser, as you can run a 160mm TBB right up to the end of the FMG-9 kit. I’ll probably end up sharing the CAD files online for those who don’t live in the U.K. or don’t want to pay for a complete kit.
  5. Hi! I’ve got a Milspec M4 buffer tube that has likely got too much paint on the thread. I'm looking for a 1-3/16-16UN thread die to clean the thread. Does anyone happen to have one I could borrow, or know of a tech who has the die? a new one from a reputable shop would cost me nearly £100… And I’m not sure about buying one from China, as if it’s wrong, it will f*ck up a stock tube and stock that’s discontinued and irreplaceable. I’ve confirmed the thread is definitely 1-3/16-16 as I’ve run a Milspec barrel nut over it. Both tubes measure at 1.185inch. So all things considering, they’re the same… However the thread on the new stock tube is ever so slightly too tight to get onto the receiver.
  6. Bought an old Limcat H-bar from someone. Had it and the frame cerakoted to breathe some new life into it. I’m in awe of this colour ?? I also absolutely wrecked the paintwork on my AA G19. The same guys did a clean camo job on it to make it look new again! Inspired by the hillbilly cerakote that RWA are doing on their latest batches of AA slides.
  7. Dead impressed with the Ebog-designs hi-capa holster. Clicks into place nicely, blocks the slide and trigger, fits a QLS and allows for torch, RMR and other attachments.

Tested on a gold match and D.O.R, no issues so far.

Tempted with one of these myself ?

@Barnyi’d recommend it! They’re very cost effective and versatile! 3 out of 4 of my hi-capas fit in this holster in pretty much any configuration. Where as my Kydex holster only takes a specific hi-capa with specific torch.

I've pulled the trigger.... one on its way ?

  8. Pretty much done.
Need to figure out how to remove the front post so I can fit tritium suppressor sights. Requires M&P9 front post and G17 rear according to RWA.

In the mean time, I’m going to look for wide head m2.5x8mm screws for the RMR.

  9. So, this is turning out to be a lot more work than first anticipated ?

@rocketdogbertWhen GM made this slide, they made a whole load of contrary design decisions. The main ones causing the headache right now are:

      - Non-standard sight holes (cant use TM or UMAREX sights on them... only very specific GM sights which are £80 if you can find them in stock).

      - non-standard RMR screw holes. Every RMR slide I've owned before hand uses M3 10.9 screws to mount the sight. GM use 2.5M 10.9... which weren't included with the slide and aren't included with the RMRs.

Once I have the RMR on, and I'd fiddled with it, I'll be much happier :)

I'm super happy with how it looks though.

  10. Finished my AA G17. Took a little whilst to get the BBU filed down to the right tolerances for the hammer and magazine.

Looks fantastic (not a glock kinda guy so probably not appreciating it like I should).

Thanks, I’ve been working on a few different ones, so I’ll post photos once I’ve finished them ?

  11. Lockdown boredom has finally got to me. Used my box of spare parts (plus the spare parts from some other Glock fans on this forum) to build up two extra Glocks. I still have parts to build a third extra Glock 17 with a P80 base.
