well, parcel arrived from atlanta, and contents are shown in the second pic... armourer works drum mag, various "weapons grade waifu" patches and stickers, MAXX hop unit with built in tracer and an elite force pull out dead rag. i also bought some cans of red and green gas from teamgreen airsoft, as well as a sling for my new tippmann (not pictured as is on the gun) and a collapsible BB pouch finally i bought a holographic sight from @Anotsu in the classifieds for my tippmann, and a set of M-Lok adapter rails from ebay so i can attach my m203 to the tippmann ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airsoft-Aluminium-20mm-M-LOK-Rail-in-5-7-9-11-13-Slots-Picatinny-RIS-RAS-Rail/353129960407?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=622350376555&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 ) and now i will be locking all my bank cards in the safe and deleting them all from paypal to prevent any further impulse purchases for the next couple of months =P

that reminds me, i need to do something similar to make a new handle for my nuprol speedloader.. damn handle came apart second time i used it.... =/ i see the foam inserts you made for your bag, and i have done some similar things with an ex-military missile case (for my RIFs) and a large ammo case (for magazines etc). i think i posted somewhere on the forum that thats what i was planning, but i dont think i posted the final results...

i know im way too late to the party for this one, but i dont often check all the threads on this forum.... from reading his comments over the last few pages, i would say that he is a butthurt, snowflake troll... too true, people now think that because someone has an opposing opinion to them, that means they are being bullied, harrassed and persecuted... they also see that the second they whip out those words, other people (mainly younger generations) will fall in behind them because "we must stand up to bullies". im not going to devolve into a massive rant here, because its not helpful to anyone, pointless in an airsoft forum, and no doubt some snowflake will try and claim that my opinions are bullying/racist/harrassing/pure evil/toxic etc etc (take your pick of any word that butthurt people throw around to try and paint themselves as delicate roses being trampled by some heathen with an airsoft gun in his hand) for the record, im 28, so i could be considered a younger generation, but i was brought up to respect other peoples opinions, that people wont necessarily agree with you, and not to cry and pout just because someone has an opposing opinion to you. also for the record.... im not racist, i hate everyone... =P =P (that was a joke, for all you snowflakes reading that last line)

well, small update on my import duties tale... i ordered a bunch of stuff from airsoft atlanta that totalled approx £290. parcel got stopped by customs and i have been stung £65 of import duty... on the other hand, i ordered a bunch of non-airsoft stuff from japan, and was expecting the parcel to be stopped at customs as every single parcel from japan has been in the past, yet this time it passed straight through customs with no charges attached... goods in the parcel totalled £120 and i wasnt charged VAT etc...

@Robert James has there been any news yet on wether the event will go ahead in february as planned, or is it still too early to know for certain at the moment?

Thank you for your message @alxndrhll, i have a scuba cylinder for my .22 air rifle, so it should be easy enough to get the relevand adapters, and it would make sense to have one set up to take on sites where there arent any HPA stations... once air rifle ranges and airsoft shops are allowed to open again, then i will start making enquiries to find out where in my local area i could go to get a refill/ top off of the small tank, as well as getting my scuba cylinder retested and filled 😃

And shes arrived.... Unfortunately lockdown means dive shops etc are closed so i cant get HPA bottle filled, so have fitted the CO2 kit so i can test fire her tomorrow. The guys at battlezone airsoft also very kindly threw in a bag of .3g tippmann bbs and 10 co2 capsules too 😃

Well, my wallet needs CPR now.... Tippmann M4, 5x CO2 mags, ninja air line HPA tank and HPA tank pouch arrived today. The guys at Battlezone airsoft were also kind enough to throw in a pack of .3g tippmann bbs and 10 CO2 bulbs as a brucie bonus 😃

Thank you everyone for all your replies, i greatly appreciate it, and it makes me desire the gun even more 😃 And i apologise for the incoming wall of text =P Looking at the cost of various tanks and based on suggestions from @Adolf Hamster, @Tommikkaand @jay1988, i will probably go for a 48ci tank as it seems to be the best balance of cost and size... i can always buy a 68 if needed.. and im glad to hear i should be able to invert the tank, as i was concerned that using the tank inverted could encourage moisture formed by the charge/discharge process to form and then get through the line and into the gun Lol... thats the exact video that got me thinking of going HPA.... damn you airsoft mike XD *shakes fist* (only kidding of course 😃 ) For clarity, i was already looking at getting a branded line, but wondered if there was a particular brand that is better quality/longer lasting/more durable than others. I realise that the mags will vent all co2 once the mag is removed, vmbut i dont think it will be a major issue, as the sites i regularly go to chrono everyones guns using the weight they use in game... plus i like to fire many rounds to make sure everything is working, plus at 80 rounds i doubt i will regularly be returning to safe zone with full mags.. lol I dont mind the cost of CO2 capsules... as i already have a CO2 air rifle and CO2 moscart shells as well, i buy in large bulk quantities to get economies of scale.... (currently have about 150 capsules in a box as we speak) and as you have a v2, would you mind DMing me (or even commenting here if allowed) as to your experiences using the rifle, and any quirks i should look out for, either co2 or hpa, as well as what mags you find work best for the HPA setup. I always like to hear first hand reviews from other players who own guns i intend to purchase so i know what to look out for. And i will definately look into a dive cylinder and adapters, if the ones i have are not suitable for filling HPA tanks

hmm.. seems most tracers i look at only list compatability with green tracers... i tried checking for a compatability chart or information on the tracer fitted to that MAXX hop unit, but i believe it has UV LEDs, and talking to a couple of friends not on this forum it seems that red tracers will only work with white light LED tracer units.... guess i will just have to use green tracer BBs after all...

im happy to wait until mid february to see what happens. who knows, we might get a break... (i know, i know... but it doesnt hurt to be optimistic =P )

hi guys, well, i really need to stop looking at YouTube reviews and browsing airsoft websites (except this one of course 😃 ), as i m now considering falling to the dark side and buying my first HPA gun... kind of... by kind of, i mean i am looking at the Tippmann M4 v2, the one that can run on CO2 OR HPA. as i have never run an HPA system before, i want to check a few things before i take the plunge. apologies if these questions have already been asked, but i did search the various threads before starting this ne with limited success. initially i would be looking to run it as CO2 as i often play at sites that don't have HPA refill facilities, but later use it on HPA. my questions are these: 1. what size air tank would i need to be able to last one, possibly two days airsofting? (i play at sites without HPA facilities, but do have a few dive shops and air rifle ranges near my house to refill between weekends) 1a. roughly how many shots would i get out of each size air tank if the gun is set up for equivalent of 350FPS, firing .25s or .32s 2. what is the best quality remote line to use? 3. do i need any protective sleeves for the line? 4. can the HPA bottles be worn on your back inverted? (IE with the outlet pointing towards your arse, to allow the line to be clipped to my waist/belt to hopefully reduce snagging) 5. are there any points on the gun that need to be focussed on more in terms of maintenance?

Paid my green fee yesterday. Look forward to seeing everyone there (lockdown/tiers permitting)
