2RIR got a reaction from Tackle in Giving a RIF as a gift?
Hi, I asked a friend who is in the PSNI. I to have bought lots of rifs and gifted them to my son. I was told that the ukara is for purchase only so that it doesn't have to be two toned, registered to a name,Its basically there to protect the retailer so they are liable for illegal sales, etc, now i know gun laws are different over her in Northern Ireland. As long as it's only used at a game or on private land with the owners permission, it's fine. There has been loads of swap and sells at local airsoft fields and if 2 responsible adults wish to swap or sell to each other then they don't need to see or even ask for their UKARA. As I said our laws are more restricted over here as we're restricted to 1 joule but there is a shop I go to in Dundalk Ireland and they don't even require a ukara to buy at store or even online.

Yeah I seen that the pin itself is loose, there is a bit of movement in it, they still haven't responded to my emails so see what happens as they do state if there's any problems they'll sort it, just wanted to get a bit of knowledge from people who know like yourself and the others which is greatly appreciated, before their customer service says its not their fault which I hope won't happen.

Cheers, have to check it out, that's a picture of the r hop arm, now I'm no expert but is that not ment to be flat, I've no o rings on the barrel but I thought the larger of the 2 springs in the krytac done this but I'll definitely try the o rings, the barrel I got came from their Austria branch so I hope they put the appropriate materials in it, I'm waiting on their response so see what happens.

I'm using 0.25g bbs I can put 0.28g bbs in it but it puts me right at the limits, some shots went over some didn't so I just used the 0.25g just to be safe, I've just got the barrel today from a local retailer, luckily if I don't see any change then he will let me return it so I'll let you know what the results are.

I just use a stretchy cotton towelling headband, 1980s style. Under £2 each on eBay, e.g. this listing.  Opinions vary, but I think it helps.  I'd suggest getting multiples, as they get moist fast.  Wear one while you air one.

    [Goes to order more]

However, that's my last line of defence.  I also go dual pane, fan assisted, with Revision anti-fog wipes, or Cat-Crap (yes) brand magic gloop.

Bolle X800 have a hard rubber seal at the top that prevents forehead sweat entering the goggles and steaming up the lens, great solution and unlike mesh they protect ALL of your eyes from BB and pyro (not just a random half`)

Another old trick is put hand over eyes and spray forehead with anti perspirant

Me, after going Dye i4, went to Bolle X800 but now am a Warq convert, no steaming up and full protection

With regards the mesh goggles would recommend heroshark goggles. Have a pair I use during chronoing, test firing and as an emergency back up.
Think he does most of his business on Facebook.

With the sweat band I have just used an olive green bandanna in the past. I use an Czechoslovak surplus one.
You can get various stuff on eBay such as tan British army sweat scarves to do the trick.
