  1. I can vouch for new owners, had 1x service, 1x upgrade from them in the last few months, no complaints at all from me, I think they're brilliant, but obviously that's subject to opinion
  2. ASPUK are experts on springers, their website isn't the best but it might be worth having a word with them.
  3. I'm no expert but a spring might not be your answer if you're looking for consistency mainly, and only another 30-40 fps. As mentioned above, tightening everything up and making sure there are no air leaks (youtube videos explain how) will help. maybe some better hop up bucking/rubber too?
  4. Yeah my anti-malware kicks off at all sorts. The comment about it being a rubbish survey still stands though
  5. That's a good plan mate. As for "dumb" moments' - I've been playing regularly for over a year now, and just the other week i managed to split my combats from crotch to arse, exposing some tighty whiteys. In the same motion I was throwing a smoke grenade, the grenade left my hand, landed over a hill, and a minute later the Marshall had to call a cease fire because it had started a bush fire. We all have our off moments
  6. Glad you enjoyed your day mate, like I said, we're shooting at black hills this Saturday (any every 2 weeks on Saturday). Drop me a line if you fancy it! Two things to consider: 1. I noticed the aches and pains for the next few days when I started playing, I've started getting there 10 mins early and doing a lap of the big open area on site with my eye pro on, then a few leg stretches. Everyone laughs at me, but I give no shits, and the morning after I feel right as rain 2. If you're after a UKARA number in a rush, I think (correct me if I'm wrong folks) it can only be acquired by skirmishing at the same site no less than 3 times in <some time period, the ;ength of which, I've forgotten> . the bit in bold is a Stupid rule if you ask me, but nobody is asking me
  7. Just so you know, my malware blocker pinged when I clicked the "submit" button at the bottom. Doesn't necessarily mean there's any malware embedded, but finish the survey at your own risk. PS. Worst questionnaire ever. Even if it is being used for a good reason, the data acquired is going to be shiiiiiiiiiiiit
  8. Funny you should mention it... I spent my Saturday this weekend making a case for my pistols. I used the case from an old electrical drill, bought some foam, stenciled around the bits I wanted in there, cut them out with a Stanley knife, painted it, and it's currently drying. Assuming you can find a case long enough, you could do the same - cost me £5 for foam, which is a lot cheaper than £30-£200 you can pay for some cases... And it was fun to make For longer cases, you can buy cheaper ones that aren't designed to carry rifles... Snooker cue cases, golf clubs etc. It also means you can have the foam cut to house your rifles exactly... Including attachments like scopes etc. if you like... When it's dry I can take some photos to show you if you need to know anymore but there are all sorts of guides etc on the forums and on YouTube. PM me if you have any questions.
  9. Been keeping an eye on those myself. Let us know how the mod goes and how you like it
  10. Although I'm not sure, I'm pretty confident you're right. That certainly applies to accessories bought from UK shops, UKARA is only for RIFs
  11. No point in a very good scope without a very good rifle. That said, I got one of these, comes with weaver mounts on the top and side, the scope is illuminated, zooms between 4x and 12x, has a red dot attached (for close encounters) and is really good quality! https://www.wish.com/geek/m/c/5526656d3462af0c106ac3c4
  12. Woops. Yep, you're right
  13. Cheers all. I'll order today, looking forward to receiving my shiny new bulpup ;D
  14. if you fill it with BBs, spin the gear until the BB appears to be at the top and then pull the tiny tab covering the top of the BB (where it feeds into the gun) with your finger - they should spring out and go everywhere. If they do then the problem could be with your gun. --Edit, if it's a flash mag, don;t spin the gear because there isn't one...duh.
  15. Hi all, I really really really want a RIF from TaiwanGun I have UKARA, will I have to pay any crazy import taxes or anything? Cheers.
  16. Just for anyone who thinks ghillie suits have to be heavy or restricting or expensive: https://www.wish.com/geek/m/c/563abd31293def3b18bacc94 This is the one I use, its particularly great for woodland in summer, and it's unbelievably cheap! I also don't use the legs, so I chopped them up and used them for several things, including a net that i wrapped around my rifle, and I stitched a sheet into the back of my tac-vest, so when i'm laying down my back is covered too. it's not visually as impressive as some of the bigger bulkier more expensive ghillie suits, but you won't overheat in it, you won't break the bank, and you won't care if it gets ripped to shreds when you go bush-whacking!
  17. If anything it will increase the forum's popularity. If guns seem overpriced, simply don't buy them! The sticky's at the top of the classified threads should tell you to do your research before you go buy a gun from here, so it shouldn't really change anything in a negative way.
  18. First of all, welcome to the airsoft community! I'm glad to hear that you have a decent pair of boots - that's something I'd class as "essential"! As for the jeans, it's entirely up to you, I wouldn't worry too much about standing out on your first time, especially if you don't know the area you're going to be playing in. I'd prefer a pair of adidas/nike type tracksuit bottoms myself, just for comfort, but it's simply preference. If you're in the Derbyshire area, it would be cool if you'd join us for a shoot at black hills (PM me if you're interested for more info). I'm a regular there, and it's very very "new player"-friendly. Good luck with your first shoot, don't over think anything until you've experienced it first hand
  19. Fair enough, I suppose it depends on where you're playing, and what type of ghillie suit you have. I only wear a ghillie jacket and on the bottom regular camo combats (as stated above, it's a nightmare to get through thick bush, especially with the legs!)
  20. On a side note, it bothers me that people think Snipers and Gillie suits come as a package. By all means wear a gillie suit & hood - they're sick! Just don't assume you need a sniper to go with the gillie! They're just as effective at making you look like a semi-stationary bush whether you're holding a pistol, AEG, bolt action rife or DMR! I always consider that if you're far enough to warrant using a sniper rifle, you're probably too far away to warrant camouflage that blends you into the background perfectly... surely it makes more sense that better camo is required the closer you are! Rant over, GL with your sniping though, it's great fun!
  21. Hi all, I'm looking for a scabbard (back/shoulder strapped holder thingy) that will fit a G&P M870 shorty. The shotgun is 515mm long, all the scabbards I've found are 700mm+. Anyone know where to get a shorter one? Thanks!
