Going with the original post from this thread I'm aware of at least one zombie series that makes repeated references to TWD about the characters repeatedly ending up covered in 'walker' blood, guts etc and yet suffering no ill effects whatsoever from being slathered head to toe in biologically hazardous/infectious fluids.
