  1. So a while ago I had a tm ngrs ak and ended up deciding it was fun but not worth what I paid for it. So I sold it and deciced to only buy ngrs rifles broken and in need of work. Here is what I have got my hands on so far, both for significantly less than I would have otherwise paid for them. Keeping my eyes out for an ak now.
  2. A bit of a ressurection project here. I bought this star m14 ebr about 3 years ago because it is a lovely chunk of c&c aluminium. It uses a proprietary gearbox and though I managed to get a new shell I soon realised that I couldent get the switch. So it sat and gathered dust for a long time. Recently I picked up a cyma m14 gearbox and a dremel and set to work. Unfortunately since the m14 gearbox has a sideways motor the current stock wont fit. Ill be making a layered plywood target shooting style stock instead. It will also be a good test run for the sks project I have planned in future. still working out how best to attach it as the bracket currently stops the motor from seating fully. Im happy to be finally making progress on this gun and It should be done soon. The main gearbox shell fits very tightly but ive found I had to remove the selector mech to get it to work so this is now a semi auto only gun. Parts I still need to source: some sort of bracket to bolt the stock to new charging handle as the old one shattered lots of little bolts
  3. I make custom leather holsters. Not done one specifically for an aap before but I can do pretty much any pistol.
  4. Its a smith and wesson performance center. Its basically a 44 magnum frame with a 357 cylinder. Means the real ones hold 8 shots.
  5. Oops..... My finger slipped.... Another tanaka is in the post.... one of these to be specific.
  6. I think you just have to pray to the qc gods and buy one. will say we has better parts availability though
  7. For makarovs I had the kwc for a long time and never had an issue with it. Being co2 it worked all weather. The we ones Ive seen seem to have a 50/50 chance of working.
  8. I meant ngrs rifles in general but I get what you mean. I dont own a single m4.
  9. The buffer tube removal is complete. now it just needs a bit of cleaning up and some paint.
  10. They are lovely but I find it hard to justify the price for what you get. Thats why both the ones I have came to me broken XD
  11. Tm recoil 417. Needs a rewire so I swapped it for a couple of other guns.
  12. I prefer the original stock. And maybe the scar 20 stock
  13. Picked up a king arms sig 556 recently. I love how the real rifle looks. Unfortunately the king arms looked like this So I have been spending my time today, grinding and filing down an ics sig folding stock block and its getting there finally. Already swapped out that massive handguard for a rail system.
  14. Someone has a tokyo marui 733 for sale on airsoft nation if that is close enough to what you are looking for.
  15. Tanaka revolvers seconded if you can find them.
  16. Probably camo. Most of what I wear is plain od green or forest camo of some sort. Not looking to match anything in particular.
  17. If you are looking to buy you can select the wanted section when creating the ad.
  18. Id say Running a regular carbine, a sidearm is entirely unnecessary. It is necesarry in other circumstances such as running a sniper rifle or in my case running a machinegun which is both too unwieldy to clear rooms with and more likely to jam through sheer volume of shots. (also its banned to clear buildings with full auto only replicas in a lot of places) However. When approaching airsoft its best not to think of necesarry or unnessecary. Running a good sidearm is a lot of fun. (like me running my revolvers. They are far from the most effective but are a lot of fun) Pulling your pistol and getting someone when your rifle runs out of ammo feels great. It is a lot of fun to mess around with a pistol. Similar to what EDcase said though it is not necesarry to enjoy airsoft, its just a fun little extra. Dont worry about it until you have been playing for a while longer. Id also say stay away from the we pistols in general. They are hit and miss. Army armament do good glock 17s for cheaper than we and theirs are 100% compatible with tokyo marui parts and of a similar quality to we. For browning high powers the only good option is the tanaka which is both discontinued and £250+ when you do find one.
  19. So I recently picked up this ak 105 for a grand total of £50. Its obviously been sat in a shed, repainted and abused for many years. It does however feed and fire perfectly. Im thinking this wouls be a great test bed to try out painting a gun. Up until now the only refinishing work ive done has been to get my guns back to a factory looking finish. Any advice or ideas? I will be building something to replace the snapped off threads on the gas block soon.
  20. Indeed I did. I made one for me and one for someone else. I just entirely forgot to post about it. Sorry about that.
  21. Just got this. Another for the revolver collection. Its a tanaka saa bisley. The holster came with it. Ill be making a much prettier one soon.
  22. Bought a cheap repro mauser 712 stock from china. Been gradually sanding down and refitting the catch and it now slots into my we mauser no problem. To my surprise all the fittings on this cheapo stock are steel so they are getting blued at some point. Also goint to get wooden grips and have a go at refinishing the mauser.
  23. Make that 3 aks and a tanaka revolver that will be turning up next week...... I think I have a problem
