Yeah. Cable would be a bit of a dangerous trip hazard on stairs. You could do some sort of wireless proximity sort of thing with a base station in the stairwell that transmits to the shield over Bluetooth. When the shield is in range, i.e. in the stairwell, some part of it lights up to indicate it's in play and "receiving power". Take it too far away and it's no longer in play. Or maybe like those security devices you can fit on bags/luggage. If they move too far away from you they let off a siren.

Sweet. A couple more for you. A coke/meth lab. Lots of nice metal equipment for cover which would make a racket getting pelted with BBs. Just a shit load of full body mannequins dotted about. They always give me a fright when I come across them in FPSs. I imagine it would translate well over into real life. Getting people to question their target identification skills. If you can find a shop going out of business or being renovated, I imagine they could be had pretty cheap. Would be a nice and easy one.

Can some of the floors be themed? A jungle floor for instance would be pretty cool. Dim lights, loads of artificial ferns/plants etc. Like something from an overgrown city a la I am Legend, The Last of Us etc John Wick club type neon floor. Loads of pink and blue fluorescent lighting, music etc Hospital themed floor. Creepy floor with loads of occult markings, fake blood on the walls, bloody drag stains on the floor, alters, rituals etc. Like something out of Doom. Supermarket floor. Prison floor. Containment floor. Think Labs level from Escape from Tarkov. Decontamination tents, PVC linking tunnels, temporary lab type setups etc And yes, I'll take free membership as payment for my helpful suggestions 😄

I think we got exceedingly lucky with the Mall. Due to the nature of the site I gather there was loads of prep work and something with the drains running underneath? which delayed redevelopment works massively. I'd imagine it wouldn't take much work to get approval to get an old, knackered office block taken down.

I can't see it be being a long term thing though so I doubt the owners would be too happy about putting walls through, even naff partition walls. Unless of course the building is earmarked for demolition in which case, smash away.

They're really meh guns to shoot. I know most would never even gas them up but I had a 6" and 10" versions and they were a disappointment. That's the old TM DE for you though I suppose. Cool looking grips though. Even with their rarity, I think £500 is a stretch.

I was thinking about going for one of newer ones for iPhone 8+ (as they seem better quality) and then gluing a silicone case inside it for retaining but I haven't checked measurements yet. Maybe put a thin metal plate on the exterior as I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to BBs.
