New and never used. This is from the recent Forgotten Weapons replica group order of the famous magazine vest from the film Heat. Basically, it seems there were some misunderstandings/mix ups with the factory in China in terms of sizing from what the group was expecting and promised. In addition to general quality issues. This is the revised "medium/large" (the smallest size that was available) It is adjustable on the shoulder for length and at the back with elastic. See photos for dimensions. At it's shortest adjustment it's good for me at five foot 10 but probably also good for someone a bit shorter. With ample adjustment for someone taller. The main issue though is general meh quality. The elastic magazine retainers aren't great and will probably require modifications which I think should be fairly straightforward or complete removal and replacement with better quality and placed elastic. This is especially notable on the shoulder magazine elastic. Don't even think about trying to use GBBR mags in it's current state… So yeah, it has it's issues but potentially OK as a base to modify if you actually want to use it (please don't rob any banks with it though) Also, mag obviously not included. £40 posted.

Well yes, so did I but there's this thing called the VCRA now...

In subsection (7) “modern firearm” means any firearm other than one the appearance of which would tend to identify it as having a design and mechanism of a sort first dating from before the year 1870.

      https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/38

It's a rather peculiar date, and may actually be intended to cover cartridge revolvers - the Colt Single Action Army was developed around 1869 and trialled in 1872. So that cap gun might very well be a "modern firearm" by that definition.

The real answer is that they're "getting away with it" because nobody really cares.  We know that there are airsoft sellers flogging unambiguous RIFs without real defences, and what would the defence be for this paintball "marker"?

Or for that matter, this gel "blaster"?

You might argue that those aren't non-firearm airsoft RIFs, but instead some super-secret sub-category of airgun firearm that isn't really an airgun firearm, nor a RIF.  I've seen claims that paintballs guns aren't considered as airgun firearms because the ammunition is (or rather can be) frangible, but I can't recall being pointed at any specific legislation or case law.

It's all a bit silly really isn't it, is my main point I guess.  Newcomers to airsoft pissing about with two tones and then we get stuff like this.

  2. I do frequently run around the woods with several thousand £ worth of gear. Protectors are disposable. I'd rather bin 8 uncoated protectors than 1 £250 protector...
  3. What on Earth are you doing with your thermal if it has the opportunity to get so fucked up lol
  4. Not really. You can get them fairly cheap from China.
  5. Perhaps an enquiry with trading standards is in order?
  6. Yeah. You would think there would be the classic tabloid photos with the mother and child showing off the "water pistol" unless the truth isn't quite what is being presented here.
  7. Looks like a WE Makarov PMM mag to me.
  8. That's good to know about their CS. You weren't at the Ascension Research event last weekend were you as someone was talking about their Blocs breaking in the same place. I'm just wondering how widespread of an issue that is. But if they sort it should it occur, that's nice to know.
  9. I saw them a few weeks ago at the usual HK shops. They're cool, but let's face it, I doubt anyone outside Korea is going to want to drop $1500 on such a niche rifle.
  10. Ah. I see. When you release the slide with barrel and recoil assembly fitted, it returns to battery fine? Just that the rearward travel is blocked?
  11. When you say the slide is hitting something, at what point in the travel?
  12. Agreed. They'd rake it in doing a GBB 416 then maybe a couple of years later, a GBB MCX.
  13. I thought there might have been something interesting for an "emergency" reveal but no, 🥱
  14. Regular AEG, TM recoil, TM/VFC/WA/WE/KWA GBBR? A little more specificity would help.
  15. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

  16. Hi from England (fish & chips) Judging from your previously owned and current guns, I can see you are a person of excellent taste. Well done.
  17. For future reference, it's actually piqued, not peaked.
  18. Were you selling these on ebay at some point? I definitely remember seeing them a year or so ago on there.
  19. I suppose you could argue if you heard it in the briefing, there is a verbal contract that you agreed to be detained in such an event and you had the option to leave after the briefing if you disagreed.
  20. Was that a Gunman site by any chance? I seem to recall hearing that in the briefings at Tuddenham. Seems a good idea to put that out there right away to deter anyone from trying it. Though not sure legally where they stand preventing people from leaving though it would look a bit suss if someone did try.
