  1. ETA isn't until September, but I'll get the pre-orders up as soon as I know the full picture ?
  2. It will be more than that but less than the total cost if you factor in shipping and taxes. Octagon, and their FCW arm have a lot of operations based out of HK, which is also where Viva Arms are based. I have to factor in that extra cost to get it into the UK. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Octagon have managed to get it into the US at minimum cost, one way it another. Based on the fact I also know what the wholesale prices are for all distributors.
  3. Asked Viva Arms for prices, just waiting on a response ?
  4. First batch of products up for pre-order @ https://www.raresoft.co.uk/category/all-products
  5. Still in the works, there's a list of products planned for this year, but it's not small so we will see how many cross the finish line. Curious what GBB system it will use... Speaking of which:
  6. There's been a LOT of requests for Viva to make it into a full size Mini 14, I'd certainly say that's the better option. We'll see how open they are to changes. I've asked them to make a Bren gun for the UK market. Considering they already make a ZB26, I'm hoping they'll accommodate...
  7. Raresoft is set to become the UK distributor for Viva Arms products. Lots of historical replicas otherwise unobtainable will make their way to UK shores soon... MG34 Maxim M1910 M19A6 M19A4 ZB26 Just to name a few.... There will also be separate CNC gearboxes available.
  8. It is, but it works very similarly to the current 249. Ie, the main part of the magazine is actually a gas reservoir, and there is a casette within the magazine that holds the rounds. In this case, it has a 150rd capacity. They will come with a drum mag from standard. I believe VFC is also going to be releasing a HPA magazine from factory.
  9. Still going, just sold an Inokatsu p226 to a chap on here this evening. New Stock, available on the Raresoft website ?
  10. There's no problem with this as long as the business is up front with things...which admittedly isn't the case for many. I understand why it happens, it saves outlay on businesses buying stock only for it to sit in their facilities which get ever more expensive to run, losing money in the process. Many players would be happy saving some cash to wait a little longer....but transparency is key.
  11. At the moment it's primarily Tanaka revolvers, the cheapest VFC GBBRs in the UK, for the most part and some other odds and sods sprinkled inbetween.
  12. Shameless plug for www.raresoft.co.uk
  13. With the $50 discount code, it van be picked up at SWIT at the moment for £1500 before shipping and taxes.
  14. My Sheriff Spas 12. Semi-auto version, fully functional. The rarest production airsoft shotgun in the world.
  15. Are these hard to get hold of these days? I kind of forget these and the AUG exist. Not been seen in the UK for a while right?
  16. The OG Maruzen single shot shotguns are the Kings, and were well known for having sniper-like range capabilities out of the box.
  17. Woops! Still after one buddy?
  18. Recently managed to get my hands on a Sheriff Spas 12. I have a friend who needs the engine to revive his Sheriff Highlander Magnum, so this will be a donor for an M1100-based conversion.
  19. In fairness I'm just being lazy with a couple of mine. One thing I will say is, having timestamps makes selling a bit more difficult, as I use a lot of photos of stuff that I own...that's sat in my warehouse in Japan waiting to ship. I completely understand why it makes sense as a rule though
  20. Airsoft guns are not "air weapons" under the Section 57A. This changes when we breach the "lethal" power limits as described. If this is a bolt action gun then this becomes an air rifle by legal definition, which unless you're in Scotland, won't get you in any hot water for ownership, but a site would be screwed if somebody complained of an injury and it was discovered you were over the limits and had technically injured them with an air rifle. The same can be said for fully automatic airsoft guns, although once these surpass the specified limit, they become Section 5 firearms, meaning there's no legal variation between your airsoft gun, and a completely bog standard real M240B. As already stated, the UK firearms law is incredibly poorly written, with far too many overlaps and grey areas.
  21. It's Raresoft time
  22. Ignore half the kit because it'll likely be ITAR restricted. In terms of actual RIFs...why do you think you can't bring them here?
  23. It's only twice a year, but take a look at the Midlands Airsoft Fair. It's a fantastic event with a lot of variety
  24. Why yes I enjoy ergonomics, how could you tell?
