It’s commonly known as ECBA - Enhanced Combat Body Armour. Was used in early days of Iraq and Afghanistan before being replaced with Osprey around 2006. The plates will be the main value in it

Strangely enough, I’m pretty sure 23 were wearing these in Helmand in 2008. I remember seeing them and thinking they were Paraclete, but seeing the UTG on the buckles. Not a brand I’d heard of at the time but they must have made a unit purchase

Dragon Supplies Field Trousers (New Crye knock off?)
Jacket replied to AirsoftTed's topic in Latest News
You can pick up a pair of new or like new Crye G4 for £100-£120 one eBay. Now they are issued to Rangers and bootnecks there is always someone wanting to convert them to beer tokens -

Great post, it’s nice to see that the largest percentage is actually going on playing. I think I have played 4 times, bought 2 guns and sold them both. One for a £60 loss, one will be about £50-70 profit as I’ve split it down for parts and will have made more than the new price. I have the very basics in terms of kit, despite playing on and off for 27 years. Eye pro, walking trousers, DPM shirt and walking shoes. I look at all the shiny chest rigs and Crye combats, but know they would see the light of day very infrequently.

I’m 99.9% certain there has never been a DDPM bergen. Silvermans used to sell a U.S. Tri desert PLCE style bergen, along with rocket pouches that had built in shoulder straps I think. The only issued DDPM stuff I am aware of is the 40 litre patrol pack and ECM bags

600-650 I’d say

HAVE5 will save you £100 if you haven’t used that code already ?

Great write up. Did you used to run a site on an old farm? Remember reading a review in Gun Mart in the mid 90s

TM Spring Desert Eagle around 1995, then a year or so later once I’d saved up a TM M16VN AEG. Chosen because it came with a hi cap mag as standard, thus saving having to spend another £40

The Troy 7” one worked, the Troy 9” 13” and VTac 9” all wouldn’t screw on. All same design barrel nut obviously different batches. None had different descriptions of the thread in the adverts, but good on Firesupport and Landwarrior both refunded when I returned them.
-
I’ve had 4 madbull troy and vtac rails, only one of them fitted - the threads in the barrel nut just wouldn’t engage with the receiver threads past about 2 rotations.
-
Try a different adaptor ring. I tried fitting an angry gun Mk16 rail over a stock barrel with a PTS ring. The ring was slightly too big and the barrel nut wouldn’t grip the receiver. Changed the PTS zone for a RA Tech one and it worked fine

I just sold my lower with trigger mech, the buyer only wanted the trigger and body pins so may be willing to sell the lower @zehave

UCAP New rules updated today. No Binary triggers or shitty m4 mags on pistols.

Things are getting cheaper. I think I used to get £2 for a pack of 10 to the local surplus shop, and they would sell for £7 -

I run 1 + 4 in rig and rarely run out. I keep loose BBS in my trouser pocket and top up mags as I go along, slotting them in 1 at a time with fingertips.
