Having previously splurged (what feels to me) far too much for a Kydex Customs holster for my toy Glock (£70) And adding a flashlight to the pistol, I needed another holster Looking on their website again a couple of weeks ago, I was kinda shocked that a suitable replacement was gonna empty my wallet of almost another £90! Im not saying they aren’t good, My non light bearing holster is superb, but buying another one pains my budget!! So I had a trawl about Ali Exp and found a good looking substitute for a 1/4 of that cost, but not available wrapped to blend in to my loadout. I sacrificed a pouch that I wasn’t going to use, got my wife’s thread picker out and got set about deconstructing the pouch Next came wrapping the Ali Exp holster using evostick adhesive, then fitted a spare QLS mount to allow me to swap between the two. No problems with the holster, with plenty of room for the higher “Supressor” Iron Sights. I still have to burn the edges with a lighter/candle to clean up the stray threads and stop fraying. I’m Very happy with the result

I have no idea what it would sell for, but my mate picked one up - same version with real wood , drum and 4 midcaps for £150 boxed, last year I don’t know if he was mugged or robbed it ?

Just because he’s built it up, he’s got an emotional attachment to it emotional value and market value are two totally different things, he needs to learn the difference

If it was the genuine legit TM stock then I’d understand Ive ordered plenty from HK retailers, and have yet to get stung by taxes…. shipping on the other hand , they pee up your leg!

Unless I’m missing something? I can buy one complete from Octagon for cheaper, or buy the used one on here, then order the stock from Octagon and save about £100 and end up with a new Spas-12

Yeah, painting over two tone will result in loss of detail in milled or sharp edged moulded parts, like slide serrations etc

I’d like to know before paying, but have successfully removed paint from a couple of replicas without leaving any traces or damage before. Especially where trademarks are adding to a gnus value or desirability. I feel it being two toned also knocks the value down a touch more as there could be the possibility of damage to the original whilst removing it. (I’d never paint over the already applied two tone, just gonna look poop)
