So I spotted this on Gumtree and contacted the seller before the listing was deleted (anything gun shaped is forbidden to be sold there) The seller knows nothing about its history, so I gotta start somewhere I believe it’s made by Daisy, and was only in production for almost 1 year before they were forced to cease manufacture - apparently due to it being too realistic ? I can hardly find any mention of it online I dunno if it’s metal or plastic, seller is a bit vague other than it’s working. But it’s on its way to me! More a collectors piece than a skirmishable rif I think (not that I’m a collector , but couldn’t resist) Any of our veteran members able to shine a light on this please? these are the only pics I’ve got until it arrives…..

Might be something I have a look at (buy) if the results from the prommy are rubbish

I’ve just fitted a purple prommy rubber and nub to my tm 416 The rubber is a pita to get into the hop unit with the barrel (I did apply a tiny smear of silicon oilto the outside of the rubber to help tease it in) But as others have said, the actual unit itself is superb and works great Once I’ve tested and bed the new rubber in with a few hundred rounds, I’m going to see if the “wire in the nub” trick is needed or makes any difference ala DCA’s video see 1:15:26

Weigh the mag when empty, then when filled. that’ll give you its capacity

I got propane from tool station, By the volume of the bottle it works out cheaper than green gas, just stinkier And you’ll need a fill adapter
