  1. You may want to rethink your price on this one. I can get all of the above for £410 (rounded to the nearest pound) brand new and with associated warranties where applicable. I'd also query the product details you've supplied as the Streamlight you've posted lacks the "S" after the 1 which would typically be printed on the side of the light, if it's just a standard TLR-1 then this could further impact your price given it is a cheaper model than the TLR-1S.
  2. I must admit, I tried a GHK one thinking that it would a safe bet... Marui 1 : 0 GHK 😂
  3. @bapexxx - Cheers for the heads up, to be honest I was hoping to get my hands on one in time to install it before Saturday but this maybe wishful thinking, haha. I'll definitely look up their website as I believe RA-Tech do a couple accessories/parts I was interested in.
  4. @DopeYourScope - No idea unfortunately, I'm going off of descriptions. I'll have to see if I can find more on RA-Tech's site (if I can find it). Hopefully I can find a retailer with the NPAS available in the UK. On a side note thank you to the chaps who responded to my queries regarding MWS viability and milsim events, as a result I'm going to keep it and run it. Admittedly I was very torn on the prospect of selling it so now I'm looking forward to exploring the platform to a much more extensive degree.
  5. I was looking at putting in an order for an NPAS and I just wanted to clarify something. When I was looking I spotted ones which are supposedly for the MWS and WE GBBR's but I've also seen ones advertised as specific MWS versions. Are they both the same or does the MWS need a specific one? Apologies if this has already been touched upon.
  6. @RossF - My main concern is in relation to how much extra you're adding to carry weight/extra encumbrance from the added weight of carrying sufficient gas to survive the course of a full event. I understand that a fair amount of kit is required for the longer events but I was concerned about the added weight/loss of space. On reflection it's perhaps a bit daft but I was looking at it from the perspective of "with an AEG I only need BB's" whereas with a GBBR I'll need plenty of gas and BB's to ensure I've got enough for the duration. @Wo1f - Appreciate the heads up and advice, to be honest cold shouldn't be an issue as the cold would likely aggravate other issues so it would only be events during warmer months. @DopeYourScope - To be honest the issue isn't any sensation or feeling of being outgunned but it's good to hear the feedback in relation to GBBR performance at these events. It's also encouraging to hear about their longevity in the field too. I can't say I'm a particularly trigger happy player, I'd much rather use one shot as opposed to many. @Shizbazki - I can't say I've ever really looked at the MWS as a full auto spray and pray kind of gun but I imagine there must be some out there who do, haha. Out of curiosity how many mag's do you run for longer events?
  7. @DopeYourScope - Thank you for the heads up, your perspective on it is very helpful. Admittedly I'm considering getting shut of mine for an NGRS as it seems more practical for Milsim type events but I'm conflicted on the matter.
  8. Just out of curiosity what are people's views on the MWS and it's viability for milsim events? Can anyone offer any general advice or insight on running one for such events?
  9. Just a quick query, you claim that it's firing at ~340fps on 0.20g BB's, it might be worth re-chrono'ing on 0.28g BB's are in theory they should be travelling at approximately ~285fps. Unless of course the disparity is due to the hop being used on 0.28's but not on 0.20's. I would also recommend amending your advert if you have invoices supporting which company's carried out upgrade work.
  10. @Uncle Pauly - It's my understanding that these fit and function fine, the casing just has a slightly different design: Type 89 Marui GBBR Magazine. I believe the shell on the type-89 magazine has marks on one side denoting the amount of rounds left, it's non-functional in airsoft terms (to the best of my knowledge) but it's an alternative option. The chaps at Camoraids should be able to confirm compatibility and how many they have in-stock.
  11. @emilianoksa - I've got a Series '70 (I believe the internals are slightly different to the original) but it's a cracking gun. As for shots, I can't say how many I get in a mag but I've not had an issue going through every loaded round. I usually stop approximately 4 BB's from maximum to avoid unnecessary wear on the spring.
  12. @emilianoksa - The TM 1911's (I think it's all of them but not 100%) have a weight within the grip plates on each side. The inside of the grip plate has been carved out to allow the weighted plates to fit without compromising other parts of the pistol. Part of the subframe is metal too but I don't know how much this adds.
  13. Mac 10's priced at £110.00 per unit. I'm not completely sure if this belongs here but given these can be found on average for £120 - £130 the price seems a little steep. Especially when you consider the fact that it isn't even confirmed if the magazine(s) are gas tight and if the guns work as they should.
  14. @Druid799 - The thing that gets me is what else is wrong with it? If it's required that much back and forth or if they've simply failed to use the appropriate tools what else is on its last legs? Or is it the case that the internals were upgraded by someone else and the castle nut has ended up being damaged some other way? Finally given the type of gun it is and how much it costs why wouldn't you replace the castle nut prior to sale yourself? It beggars belief. This is the one which really got me though. These things are pretty damn durable so it really does make me question what happened for the flash hider to "unfortunately" get snapped off. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid package and if it were all tickety boo it would be a pretty reasonable deal. Then again the entire package looks as though it was dragged through a marsh... I mean how filth covered do your pouches have to be to be unable to tell what colour they actually are? Then again, they highlight the fact that the weathering is "all natural" so I guess the buyer can sleep soundly knowing that it's organic...
  15. @osteoshot - I must admit I spotted this and upon seeing the images and description immediately went "nope". Unfair or not, this just screams to me that it's going to opening up a potentially expensive can of worms. I also spotted a TM NGRS HK417 in the classifieds which piqued my interest up until I read that the flash hider / outer barrel had been snapped with the seller suggesting it could be re-threaded to make the shorter version etc. Again, my brain started ticking over "well, how did that happen and what damage isn't apparent?". Consequently another resounding "nope".
  16. @hunter511 - Personally I think it's something which could (if implemented correctly) be very good for the hobby, however, just because there is a qualification/certification for something doesn't guarantee that the quality of workmanship meets the same standard as another qualified technician.

    Loads of Mags

Do you know what the capacity is on the Marui Stanag magazines? Are they metal or polymer?
  18. @Wo1f - My only guess on this front would be if the G36 series was released early on in the NGRS lines development/deployment. It's my understanding that their AK's are also considered to be NGRS but it's only the newest one which offers a stop on empty feature.
  19. @EvilMonkee - Out of curiosity which retailers would you recommend for the KWA ERG series rifles? In the past when I watched and read reviews for the KWA recoil rifles they seemed prone to component failures very early on in their lives. I'm not going to lie, I love my TM G36K and my only gripe with it is that it doesn't feature a bolt stop/stop on empty (please oh great spirit of Tokyo Marui, release an upgrade/update for this beautiful rifle) but I've been looking for a recoil AK-74M with stop on empty/bolt stop and as far as I know the only electronic option is a KWA. Based on my limited experience, and that of people I know how run them in my local area, the general consensus is that TM are the cream of the crop.
  20. @Asomodai How are the motors from AK2M4? I realise they're a lot cheaper but how are they compared to the ASG Ultimate Infinity series of motors?
  21. @Asomodai - I read it as "yes, I'm having an attempt at profiteering". 😂
  22. To be honest it'll be my first time using smoke etc due to attending a new site. Hopefully if the guys I play with enjoy it then we'll be able to look at some actual bulk orders. New purchases: Cleaning brush for my Camelbak and a Russian tourniquet and bandage to go on my AK's stock.
  23. @Prisce I picked it all up from Zero One Airsoft. There was a very minor discount on the 10 pack of EG67's but the service was excellent and they delivered for a reasonable price (think it was £8.50 next day). Realised I had a mild brain fart, didn't spot Mike's name in the tag, apoologies @Prisce
  24. @MikeMarden I must admit, that's on my wishlist for when I actually get a group together who want to do milsim. A few supplies.
