  1. TG order just arrived. 🎉 Had an email 30 mins ago to say it was coming tomorrow, shows how bad their internal tracking is.
  2. My parcel has made it to the local hub, hopefully Tuesday delivery it's saying. If it does come Tuesday it's worth noting that this would have taken 15 days from the moment ups picked up the parcel. Not great, but an idea of what others might expect if they are worried about ukara expiry's. I did pay the fees within an hour of getting the email, however it took me a couple of days to fill in the firearms form once requested.
  3. Driven by management personal objectives no doubt. Most corporate bullshit can ultimately be traced back to these. If it doesn't contribute to their bonus or promotion, it's not their concern.
  4. Yeah, looks like my package arrived and departed from there today.
  5. Saying that, my high pressure order was 'shipped' a week ago, but according to the tracking, DPD still haven't received it. Its a shame they are the only uk hpa specialist because their service is terrible these days. They could do with some competition.
  6. Yeah it is on the thin side, but I guess that's also what makes it light and compact. Will have to see how it ages. Pic is a weird angle, that's just a normal SRS suppressor.
  7. Just had a call from UPS to fill in a firearms form for customs. The cover sheet/invoice from TG that they attached to the email has my ukara mentioned 3 times, so a bit ridiculous that they need a declaration.
  8. So the limit on ads is a thing :)

That'll teach me for hoarding then selling quickly.

yeah, iirc it's based on active ads, so once you sell and complete a listing you can set another going.

or combine them into a single listing if it's the right kind of stuff for that.

  9. From late last year. Hardly got to wear the autumn suit, will need to get a green one when lockdown ends
  10. Just ordered a hpa nozzle from amped, could send it in a letter. Still cost as much in delivery as the item. Also ordered a new gnu, parts and bbs from TG today. Having read the comments above, i won't be expecting it any time soon.
  11. This advert is COMPLETED!

Another HPA project abandoned, this time due to availability and cost of SVD engines. Bought from a friend, was putting out 480fps with the included spring, although inconsistent. I took the gun apart and found a poor air seal due to piston oring which I fixed. And thats where it was left. I simply lack the skill to put it back together and sell as a working dmr with any confidence. I'm happy to rebuild it minus the spring so that all the parts are in their place. Buyer would need to reshim and fit the spring of their choice as the one included is probably too hot for most sites. I have a new rocket m120 spring if buyer wants it, not sure what fps that would give. Comes with 4 midcaps, 1 high cap. An extra mp5 nozzle which some people sand and fit to the svds in place of the stock one. New RS spring set. Do to the length of the rifle and lack of box, would prefer collection from B68. £100 collected.

  12. I don't think the clones are that bad if its just the look you're after. Currently selling all my remaining WAS rigs and just keeping a JPC and my trusty vx buckle up utility. Everyone should own at least 1 of those for what they cost.
  13. I knew I should have posted it on the real steel forums instead:) Agree that it's expensive and totally unnecessary for airsoft, and only of interest to impression load-outs and real steel gear enthusiasts. Target market is obviously very small, will probably sell in 6 months time when someone searches for it and comes across the ad.
  14. Unfortunately the airsoft obsession now is to the have the best most powerful gun at 99.999% site limit. Joule creep just allows the idiots and cheats to deliberately break those limits and then claim ignorance if caught. If sites can't police J limits, I'd suggest chrono full auto's on 0.3/0.32 and snipers/dmr on 0.40+. That would negate most of the crazy joule creep builds and improve safety.
  15. With HPA the concern is often how easy it is to just pump up the psi whilst in the field. Tournament locks should resolve this, but I've never seen a site enforce them. As you say, my SRS can joule creep as much as my hpa guns but that comes with a minimum engagement and is single shot. The big concern for me would be getting hit full auto at close range with a creeping gun on heavy weights. I did some testing recently as you should always be aware how your guns behave with heavy weights. My MTW DMR jumps from 1.88J to 2.61J when I use 0.48's (39% creep) 469mm barrel My full auto HPA guns jump from 1.14J to 1.41J on 0.32. (23% creep) 300mm barrel
  16. I went for the 10inch sbr initially when I ran it as a L119a2(ish), then just extended the barrel later on when I added the longer mk12 rail. If you intend to replace the included rail straight away, buying it with the 7inch rail might save you a little ££ on the configurator. If you're play style is full auto then I would say just use the normal line with a tank. The small 13ci stock tanks are not going to last long on 35rps full auto but might be a good choice for a dmr.
  17. If you haven't set your dwell yet then that may help extend the shots per bulb. Depending on joule creep if the site limit is based on J then running heavier bbs with less psi might also help. Keep an eye on the joule creep. @450 fps on 0.2 (1.88J) my MTW puts out a scary 2.61J (530 fps equivalent) on a 0.48. My Balystik reg worked fine (some have had issues), the main reason I bought the SFR was so that I could switch hpa guns during the day without needing to chrono again. Multiple regs/bottles comes in handy. I think with the Phoenix there is a lot of fine adjustment and patience required, which is why opinions vary so much. I also bought a Maxx spacer but the only thing that put me off is the fact with a normal hop unit you then need to remove the front rail/outer barrel in order to remove it from the receiver. I could do with an open field in the new year to test barrel/hop combo's, I'll also try a G&G green due to the hype on the groups. Given that my SRS barrel length is similar to my MTW (mk12) I have a PDI 05, TNT s+ and a lambda to pick from for both guns. I had the TNT in my SRS for a year, wasn't too bad, the only issue I had was trying to get rhop patches. The Snipetor TNT patches seemed to be too thick and protrude into the barrel too much causing a jam on first shot. They are not advertised as TNT S+ and I could never find a specific s+ drop in patch.
  18. Might be of use. On watching the vid, part 2 is probably going to be more relevant when it's uploaded.
  19. I acquired a cyma SVD recently from a friend and wasn't sure if the hyrda would fit. Like you say there is a cyma svd f2 kit but no one has stock in the EU, and it was £500+ Ending up getting the mancraft VSS that was on the classifieds, will probably sell the SVD as boneyard since I don't have much confidence in putting it back together.
  20. I got rid of the 33g co2 stock from my aeg inferno in the end. The big issue is that every time you want to test it, you waste £3/4 per bulb, investigating a leak can get expensive. I imagine a 12g stock with the 33g adapter would be cheaper to test, but that introduces the issues around puncture depth. I still use my MTW with an airline and it doesn't bother me anymore. With a leaf suit over the top the line is less likely to snag anyway. (I normally run it as a DMR at my local site) If I don't feel like running a tank on the day, I'll just use the SRS. I have been tempted by the Aero stock, but with another 3+ hpa guns I'm always going to need a tank/line on some of them so might as well stick with a line for all of them. Personally I think the air tank stocks ruin the aesthetics more than the air line. It might be something I look at next year, as it makes more sense on a DMR I guess. Bought a redline SFR mini in the summer which I have been impressed with, only £115 from HighPressure at the moment (1 in stock), I ended up paying a lot more for one sourced from the EU due to lack of stock at the time. My Phoenix hop arrive on Friday after ordering back in July, looking to set this up with a pdi 05 barrel and cnc arm. So should be as good as it gets with the mtw. Lots of info on the MTW Facebook group, a lot of people are also using mods from https://www.silentindustries.eu/ such as the cnc arms and nubs. The owner of that site is very active on the group regarding hopup/barrel combo's. Due to breaking the hopup clip a couple of times, I have 2 spare standard hopup units (minus the clips) if anyone wants one. Useful for testing multiple barrel hop combo's. I find with highpressureuk, if it's in stock their service is fine. Beyond that it's not good.
