Driven by management personal objectives no doubt. Most corporate bullshit can ultimately be traced back to these. If it doesn't contribute to their bonus or promotion, it's not their concern. -
This is good advice, I keep the dive tank in the car but since I normally run a DMR I've never needed to top up during a day. Take that big dive tank into the safe zone and half the field will be begging for air

Saying that, my high pressure order was 'shipped' a week ago, but according to the tracking, DPD still haven't received it. Its a shame they are the only uk hpa specialist because their service is terrible these days. They could do with some competition. -
Yeah it is on the thin side, but I guess that's also what makes it light and compact. Will have to see how it ages. Pic is a weird angle, that's just a normal SRS suppressor.

Just had a call from UPS to fill in a firearms form for customs. The cover sheet/invoice from TG that they attached to the email has my ukara mentioned 3 times, so a bit ridiculous that they need a declaration. -
There's a reason politicians make a career of talking a lot but never saying anything

I just had so many different air leaks. This was on an AEG with the dual source adapter not the MTW. I'd get the co2 working nicely, then I'd run hpa for a couple of weeks, then going back to co2 it would be leaking. When it was working it was great. Part of the problem with the setup in my opinion is that the reg and co2 adapter is a combined device that sits inside the provided buffer tube, which then has to create an air seal around it. The front of the buffer becomes a pressurized chamber. The other thing I didn't like was that the macro line isn't really attached to anything, you just poke it through a hole in the stock adapter which creates a seal around it. A bit like a nozzle sitting on a piston head. If your macro line is not stiff enough, it will kink into your gearbox shell and get pushed out by the pressure, resulting in an instant co2 dump. They do provide a small section of thicker line in the package for this. I suspect they designed it this way so that you could slide the reg/c02 out of the buffer tube without needing to open your receiver to detach the macroline or remove the buffer. The main benefit of the wraith co2 is that it's the cleanest looking solution, you can't tell it's hpa. The compromise seems to be the buffer tube design as that's where all my leaks were. The UGS with co2 won't look anywhere near as good due to the receiver adapter, but hopefully I should have less issues with the separate reg - co2 chamber design.

Take off the usual uktactical discount of 10%, postage and vat and that DCS is really selling for just over £100. Uktactical probably buys from WAS for around £75 and sells for a typical 30% retail markup. WAS pays £40 but has to cover shippping from china, import tax?, r&d, design, testing, storage etc. Both have overheads and profit to make. I'd imagine it's those juicy contracts that pay full rrp that drive the profits tho.

The announcement of lock down dates has me excited for airsoft again. Having had a bad experience with a Wolverine co2 stock (Aeg), I'm having another go. I've opted for Polarstar UGS stocks/reg this time hpa stock for the MTW (milspec thread) 33g co2 stock with an AEG fitting for an in transit DMR My understanding is that I should be able to switch between co2 and 13ci bottle on both guns by switching the stock arms?

From late last year. Hardly got to wear the autumn suit, will need to get a green one when lockdown ends

Just ordered a hpa nozzle from amped, could send it in a letter. Still cost as much in delivery as the item. Also ordered a new gnu, parts and bbs from TG today. Having read the comments above, i won't be expecting it any time soon. -
Depending on the version of your rifle, the first issue may be the gearbox shell. I believe the area around the trigger is unique to this gun for the EFCS version. The large hole in the shell for the aeg trigger board makes fitting some hpa boards impossible. If this is the case, users online typically ended up buying replacement gearbox shells.

I broke the same part on my CA B&T mp5, had to wait months for firesupport to get an ICS one in stock. It's always worth setting up stock alerts for out of stock parts, as it may push the retailer to get more stock in if they see a demand. Proprietary parts has always been why I typically own the 'common' guns, although it's easy to end up with a cupboard full of m4's if you're not careful.

Another HPA project abandoned, this time due to availability and cost of SVD engines. Bought from a friend, was putting out 480fps with the included spring, although inconsistent. I took the gun apart and found a poor air seal due to piston oring which I fixed. And thats where it was left. I simply lack the skill to put it back together and sell as a working dmr with any confidence. I'm happy to rebuild it minus the spring so that all the parts are in their place. Buyer would need to reshim and fit the spring of their choice as the one included is probably too hot for most sites. I have a new rocket m120 spring if buyer wants it, not sure what fps that would give. Comes with 4 midcaps, 1 high cap. An extra mp5 nozzle which some people sand and fit to the svds in place of the stock one. New RS spring set. Do to the length of the rifle and lack of box, would prefer collection from B68. £100 collected.£100

I don't think the clones are that bad if its just the look you're after. Currently selling all my remaining WAS rigs and just keeping a JPC and my trusty vx buckle up utility. Everyone should own at least 1 of those for what they cost.

I knew I should have posted it on the real steel forums instead:) Agree that it's expensive and totally unnecessary for airsoft, and only of interest to impression load-outs and real steel gear enthusiasts. Target market is obviously very small, will probably sell in 6 months time when someone searches for it and comes across the ad.

The only thing showing obvious wear is the back panel, not a massive issue with the zip panel on though. Bottom row of pouches is BFG.

Leadly's Mtw Build Thread - a Dive Head First Into HPA

A magic pin works well for removing the wobble. -
Unfortunately the airsoft obsession now is to the have the best most powerful gun at 99.999% site limit. Joule creep just allows the idiots and cheats to deliberately break those limits and then claim ignorance if caught. If sites can't police J limits, I'd suggest chrono full auto's on 0.3/0.32 and snipers/dmr on 0.40+. That would negate most of the crazy joule creep builds and improve safety.
