  1. What if I slightly file off some buckles to make them all cross compatible?

     

    I just need to remove a couple of extra parts and probably half a millimetre off a couple of female ones.

     

    Do I risk having to replace all the buckles?

      I was going to ask but you've already answered. Are we talking bearing the weight of kit or are we talking the weight of say a struggling adult that you've bound and are using buckles to secure?

      If option a, should be absolutely fine. If option b, structural integrity reigns supreme, you don't want to chance people getting loose and making authorities aware of your misdemeanours.

      I have industrial grade, 8mm thick zip ties and plenty of gorilla tape for that.

      Also can't break free if you're unconscio......what the fuck?

      Worst case I'll zip tie the shoulder straps to the rig with the ones mentioned above.

      Tried filing the buckles, didn't work.

       

      Ended up zip tying them :P
