Thanks pal but I really don't want to go down the route of modification, I was hoping maybe someone knew a brand that fits well with them

Hello everyone, I recently bought a Specna Arms SA-H22 EDGE 2.0. None of my old m4 high caps fit very well with it. I cannot get hold of any specna arms ones as they are out of stock everywhere. Does anyone know what other high cap brands fit well with this gun?
Much appreciated if anyone has had the same issue and can shed some light?

You have to look at the specs. The 'EDGE 2' is generally recommended here
Yes but for example I am looking at them on pateol base and the edge 2 has so many variants. They are all within my price range

Specna it Is! But I've been looking and there are so many different ones. Which one would you recommend?

There have been a few threads on the same subject recently, so a search will give you more detail, but the recommendations will be around
Cyma (lots of choice)
Specna Arms (lots of choice)
Double Eagle (yes, really!) m904/m906/m908
With your budget you could also go with Novritsch SSR4, or be a guinea pig and try one of the Rossi's which look interesting, or the new Delta Armoury guns currently touted at Patrol Base - which seem reasonably priced but no idea how good they are!
Don't forget some good eye pro, decent boots, extra mags (I love my Lonex flash mags), and a bit of webbing to carry your kit on...
Thankfully I still have a lot of my old stuff, I bought all new face and eye protection. Saftey is always first new boots and etc. However I am just really stuck on gun brands. You see I thought cyma was only good with the AK platforms, I didn't think they made good m4 platforms

I like the look of that Novritsch SSR4

Hello everyone,
We recently returned to airsoft after 5 years, and we had a great time. And funny enough most of you know the name (kicking mustang) happened to be playing at the site. Just our luck considering it was our first game back in 5 years 😄. Anyway I really need help and advice on what brand M4 to go with.
I would prefer M4 variant and my budget is upto £300 maybe I can push it to £350 and AEG only please.
It has been a long time since I bought any guns and I really don't understand the market anymore. I'll have my UKAARA at the end of the month and will be buying a good platform AEG.

Excellent! And an understandable mistake. I mean, it's a screw, why wouldn't you wind it in all the way?
Right!? I thought the tighter the better 😆

Okay guys I fixed it and you're all going to laugh at me lol! It turned out that I had over tightened the motor adjustment screw and it had jamed the motor in! I thought it was just a screw to hold the motor in 😆 🤣. The gun now shoots spot on

Batteries shouldn't make any noise and after 6 years of no use might well be useless now. In any case I'd be getting a new battery which may be all the problem is.
Take the motor out and connect the power back to it and see if it runs. Try to stall the motor by hand, use a rag to hold pinion otherwise if is does have some torque you'll lose some skin.
The batteries are brand new, all three of them are nuprol

It could be either.
Does the motor make any noise when doing a quick trigger pull? (like its trying to turn)
If yes then gearbox is seized.
Either way they will both need cleaning and lubricating to see if they are still viable.
The motor feels as though it wants to turn but something stops its instantly. Like I can feel it in my hand that it wants to go but doesn't

That does look quite rough. Definitely don't keep trying if it doesn't want to move.
You'll have to open up the gearbox to clean and see what the problem is.
Since its old and in poor condition its perfect to have a go at tinkering without risking breaking a working one.
Do you think it sounds more like a motor issue or gearbox issue? I was thinking maybe the motor?

Hello everyone thank you all for the great advice and responses, I managed to clean my rifle all up but now I have a operational issue. When a plug the battery and and try to shoot it doesn't shoot. However I feel like the motor wants to go but it doesn't. I can feel the power running through it if you know what I mean. At the same time it makes the battery build up a hissing like sound.

Hello everyone, I have recently decided to come back to the beloved sport of airsoft. It has been 6 years since I last played. Unfortunately all my guns are destroyed from rust and bacetria build up of being kept in the basement for so long. 7 of us are returning back and feel as though we have lost all of the knowlege we had built up in the 7 years period we played. We need some advice please.
1. We are looking for a decent starter guns, preferably not more than £300. We don't know what brands are good at the moment on the market. Also of course all our UKAARA has expired and I am guessing that leaves us with two tones Unfortunately for now?
2. We have been looking at radios and thinking for buying the baofengs, however if I recall accurately they required some sort of programming procedure that seemed complicated to us at the time.
3. Also where is the best places to purchase MTP outfits. We would prefer the MTP type. Some advice for the clothing accessories would be greatly appreciated.
