Anyone else been scammed by Bespoke Airsoft?
Jez_Armstrong replied to Nothappy's topic in Places to Buy
I know this 👍 What I meant was that anyone that used Iwholesales also just copied and pasted their blurb onto their own website when advertising their goods -
Anyone else been scammed by Bespoke Airsoft?
Jez_Armstrong replied to Nothappy's topic in Places to Buy
I made an order with them and didn't get scammed as such, the gun I ordered was plastic and advertised as metal, I returned it and got a refund But to be fair the issue with the gun being plastic wasn't their fault, as the description was pulled from Iwholesales, anyone who stocked that gun also used their description, bespoke changed their description whereas other companies still haven't -
That sucks, I joined up in 2006 and was a regular there

That can't work surely, Zet is TM?

So you count the amount of rounds your gun uses before you sell it on? I've seen brand new guns fail out of the box, you can't guarantee when a gun will break even after a service, we're literally relying on parts build by the manufacturer with sometimes shocking QC levels As for someone buying their first gun, the obvious answer is buy from a UK store new and have a warranty 🤷

What does that matter? I obviously don't have a 800+ gun collection in my shed, they things I purchase I service and flip You're thinking longevity, not second hand sale condition

Yeah that's you, I would buy it because I know how to fix stuff, but personally, of the 800+ second hand guns I've purchased over 20 years, I can't think of a single issue I've had with a second hand sale, maybe one less mag or an optic wasn't included when there is a photo of one but it wasn't in the description is the most I can think of but the horror stories that pop up, like I say, 800+ second hand sales purchased, can't think of an issue
-
This is mostly aimed at airsofters who can't be trusted with their own shoelaces, which granted is 90% Bit not everyone is a numpty and not everyone sells broken, lied about second hand guns

Help needed - Really want to start Airsoft BUT..

Welcome Let me throw some advice your way and hopefully it's useful I'm also from a biking background (bmx) and in the 20 years I rode you never buy a bike from the shop and leave it standard do you, everything ends up getting changed because some parts are either shit or they break and if you ride as much as I did you get influenced by the hobby and the community you involve yourself in, then the fomo kicks in, the magpie in you wants that shiney thing and before you know it you've replaced every part in that bike, it's now a different bike... Same goes for airsoft, I've been involved with airsoft for 20 years also now, as a player and a professional tech, I have bought, sold and repaired over 800 guns I've spent hundreds upgrading guns and I've had stock guns, my current primary is absolutely 100% stock inside (G&G SR16 E2) Guns rarely fail out of the box, not saying they don't, they are still made far east and are concidered toys so QC on some brands might be a bit more lacking than others Just make sure you have good foot wear (not trainers, get decent walking shoes/boots) decent eye pro (Bolle) and a lower face mask of you're doing CQB (take it from someone who lost a tooth in CQB) -
We g3 gbbr (real steel furniture and upgraged)
