The only way to run an Mp5 is to have an MP5k as a secondary in a holster 😂

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Jez_Armstrong replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Picked up a new JG G3 MC51 last week from patrol base Went to an airsoft boot fair on Sunday, picked up a JG G3 (Turned that into a G3SBS already) , red dot acog and 5x cyma mp5 mags and a shotgun The shotgun cost me £10 and was told it doesn't rack and it was a tri shot, turned out to be a golden eagle m870 breacher and it only occurred later that day as I inspected it that it was a gas one Needed 3 new orings, one new valve and the arms bending back straight so it didn't lock up multiple screws tightening, 3d printed an end cap that was missing and a shell holder, 3d printed a belt clip holder and attached a quick harness to the gun and ran the strap down the shoulder harness. Now I have a breaching shotgun It slings 3 x 0.28's like 50m+ 😂 All for £10 Also grabbed two MP5's this morning off a friend who wanted to shift a few guns to purchase a new one, £100 for the pair 👌 one CA and one JG -

I won't buy anything off a stranger unless they show me a photo of that item with something absolutely stupidly random like a toilet roll or a a hand full or gravel 😂

Yes I have seen these, in fact I've ordered over 100 sets of these back in the days you could from germany and I know how much they go for So don't go assuming I'm some sort of fucking troll or that I don't know what I'm talking about Just seen your reply about buying from zib, you was being charged 3 times the amount I used to get them from, and it wasn't zib 😂

Best bin my section off then

Any clarification on this? I run an airsoft discord

As much as you can try and lock down a forum and add as many hoops as possible for a scammer to jump through, someone who knows they can get free money from people will become an athlete at jumping through hoops. The best defence is you becoming suspicious of absolutely everyone you don't know personally. If someone came up to you in the street and said they would give you a watch in 3 days of you gave them £200, would you hand over the cash, no of course you don't, but some people do, that's why this guy is sending everyone a Pm because 1/10 people will bite but wouldn't you feel a bit more comfortable knowing that money has a string attached to it and if things went sour you can pull it back? That's what PayPal goods and services is.... I don't know how many times I've seen posts from people saying they sent some random person money through friends and family or via bank transfer because the seller wanted to save on fees, those fees are there to protect you... Not them I don't wish to toot my own horn or jinx it but in the 20 years I've been playing and the 700+ guns and countless bits of equipment I've bought no one has ever scammed me but maybe that's because my due diligence is so high, before I send anyone money I read their full profile, I scan all their posts, I see what guns they've sold in the past, I read all their feedback, I see how long they have been in the site, I try and find their Facebook profile..... I want every single bit of information I can find before I hand my hard earned money over to a stranger and if that person is new to the site but genuinely might have that product, I'll ask them to take a photo of the item with them holding a can of spam.... A literal can of spam, you want my money, go buy a can of spam, is that over the top? Maybe but it's my fucking money (this came up from a car forum over 15 years ago, guy claimed he had some super sick car and no one believed him and someone threw out this stupid idea to hold up a can of spam next to his car and he did, forum blew up, spam photo became a thing to prove said item was yours) Scammers will always come and go, you'll never get rid of them but please do everything you can to cover your arse by using G&S

I mean, that's a fucking dumb thing to do, especially if it's new, heck even if it's old and used you should be cleaning barrels with isoproply alcohol and don't get it anywhere near the hop rubber Expect your first few hundred shots to go everywhere until it's spotlessly clean

Time to bring this thread back from the dead As a watchmaker I'm always working on other people's beloved luxury time peices so over the last two months I have launched my own micro brand "Armstrong" I have been using pocket watch movements, for me they are a tad easier to work on and can be housed into wrist watch cases I have been stripping each one down as they come in, cleaning all the parts in my Elma cleaning machine and putting the movements back together, applying the correct oils in all the places that need them and then regulation them on my machine, rather then just grabbing a movement and throwing it in a case I don't quite trust the origins of the cheapest labour of who puts them together and what random oil they use so rebuilding a movement takes me around 4 hours I have also been customising the dials with my own logo, choosing a case I most like the look of and have been pairing them up with a choice of 22mm bison straps Being a big movement the power reserve is 46 hours between winds and it isn't an automatic movement but rather a manual one hence the need for winding I've been making these in small batches to sell to friends but if anyone is at all interested please drop me a message, I sell them for £135 with your choice of dial and strap color
