  1. I know this will sound terrible. But, when you order from fire support. They do a really bad paint job (This is good). And the paint rubs off easily, thus being true, if you just hold the gun tightly, the paint will come off. Removing the unrealistic paint. This is bad and wouldn't recommend doing this, but, you won't get in much trouble. Though I think it is illegal..
  2. Yeah, using .2g bb's will give a high number, I understood that. Seems as the TM is in favour. TM + Upgrade kit = Beast. Btw, what sort of FPS should I be hitting with .4's? Thanks (Yes, I edited that 'banterous' reply, as I thought the link was useless, then checking, it wasn't lol)
  3. Hi, So, after spending some time thinking, I think a sniper would be cool. I've looked at some snipers. I believe there are 3 types - Spring, Gas, and electric. This is my view on the 3 (Tell me if I am wrong, that's cool!) Spring : Not many things can break. If it does break, it is easier to say what is wrong. Unlike the multitude of parts that make up an electric gun. Also, they seem easily upgradeable - upgrade the spring and, well, that's almost it? And I like the idea of pulling back a bolt. Gas: I've ruled out gas, as England is cold, and due to the chemistry behind it, gas seems to fault under this cold climate. Electric: Too many things can go wrong. Electric only has the use in automatic or quick firing. Auto is not required on a sniper. From my research and thinking, I think Spring is the way to go. I'd quite like to know if I am wrong, as this will expand my knowledge and help me buy the correct gun. I know there are upgrading kits for both snipers, but I think there is a hidden reason to me why one sniper is better than the other. These are the two models I've looked at: TM VSR10 PRO (£180) (Out the box FPS: w/ .2g 275-300 UTG SHADOW OPS L96 (£120) (Out the box FPS: w/ .2g = 500 & .4 = 340 (Scopes may be separate circa £60) Something seems wrong, the TM which I've seen lots of good reviews about is firing slowly compared to the UTG. Is it simply in need of a spring upgrade kit to bring it to 500 FPS or so, there is also a UTG upgrade kit to bring that to 500 fps too. I would definitely upgrade, considering the small fee of £30. Please could you say which one is best to buy and why. Thanks. fyi: I have a M4 & CXP08 (AEG) So this sniper will be a secondary weapon.
  4. Tbh, I don't know. I was trying to say something kinky. Vocab isn't one of my strong points haha.
  5. Oh, and, if you are going with ICS, order from fire support. Fire support is like the bees nest of ICS.
  6. From experience, don't get a bear mask. Used it once and it was HORRIBLE, vision was blurred, it was uncomfy too! If you need two tone, order from fire support, they give a nice paint job, and the paint rubs off easily (cheeky but good). Or buy a pet tiger and romp the arena.
  7. Ok, so I am currently using .2g bbs. But I wanna get some further distance. Is it as simple as chucking in .25g bbs? done? thanks.
  8. hey guys, what's the rule with BB's and guns? Is it that if you use .25g bb's you have to adjust your hop? or is it that you can use .25g bb's and just stick them in the magazine and fire? If this is relevant, I have an ICS CXP08.
  9. I've got a CXP 08 ICS AEG. Though I would like to know where the hop is and how to change it. Also how do I know how much to adjust the hop? Cheers, you're doing great with all these questions.
  10. I'm a noob like you as you say, but I'd do this. Instead of. Using clothes, buy a £150-£200 gun, that is quality and can run for a long time, and can actually give someone a bruise than buying some cheap gun and finding it breaking within a month. You will also find the game much more fun with a good weapon, and, to play airsoft you don't NEED military clothing, just turn up in a hoodie lol. I seriously recommend using the money to buy a good gun, instead of a cheap piece of crap one. It will seriously help... And, over time buy military clothing... It's what I'm doing. I own an ICS CXP08 and didn't buy any clothing, and as I go along I will buy clothing. But whatever you do good luck! I'm only here to advise you. Good day EDIT: reading back, I see you own most of the clothing, even though, save up for a 130-200 quid gun, like the man above replied, with a G&G cm16. That is often a common choice.
  11. Yeah, sorry about all this. Coming to terms, it's ridiculous, I'll pull a halt on all these purchase directed questions and do it myself. But thanks for help, have a good day.
  12. Yea, I think 1x is normal sight, no magnification. On that basis, I probably want a 1.5x magnification red dot... I'm such a hypocrite .-.
  13. Ok nvm. Som silly things I've done I'll be buying a 1x magnification tube red dot then, won't go for reflex.
  14. eh, sorry... But, do you have a tube red dot? If so, what type and does it vary in magnification
  15. Ah right, reading over, I realised I meant red dot not shot dot, I get mixed up as normally short dots are not short aha, but I meant red dots or reflex, but thanks anyways.
  16. cool, tell me more about this, is it 1x magnification? And do you play woodland? Thanks
  17. Hey, got my CXP 08 with me, and I decided, i want a sight. I play woodland with varying ranges. A fair bit of bush and shrubbery. What'd be best? A reflex sight @1x magnification or a short dot sight @1x magnification? Or even a short dot @1.5x magnification, if anyone could recommend a sight, and maybe link, not to pricey, cheers.
  18. ah right, I'll look into fairy spray. Cheers pal
  19. Christ, thanks for the help, tbh, I'll end up sand papering it, but I'll be playing a game soon, so let's be honest, once I've recorded one game it shows I pretty much play air soft... If it's not enough, 3 games will come soon enough
  20. Ah right, I do see it as a bonus lol. But, yeah, I guess it's their fault that their paint is bad. I'll just wait the 3 games and maybe sandpaper the paint off? I scratched a bit off of the hand guard off with my nail to see how weak it was... I guess sandpaper after 3 games would do. Thanks.
  21. Hey guys, I bought this ICS CXP08 (it's awesome) anyways, for some of you that have been involved in the threads I have made regarding what gun to buy, you'll remember me but it is two tone red, yet the paint rubs off very easy, I'm not gonna lie, I like it rubbed off, but does this mean anything legally ? The paint rubs off very easily. (I am quite pleased it does though) I don't have a UKARA. Thanks.
