Ooh, where did you find that? I'm trying to think of something to go on my Sopmod but can't make my mind up and these caught my eye the other day. Haven't had a chance to really look for copies yet apart from a very quick skim on Ebay ("Elcan Specter" only turning up RS versions) and a point in the right direction would be very helpful. This week I've taken delivery of: Short foregrip to try on the Sopmod; Couple more LiPos now HobbyKing have suddenly got them back in UK stock; 5.11 Stryke trousers (amazingly comfy); Pentagon Reiner soft shell jacket; Pentagon Tactical baseball cap. The clothing is part of a PMC style load out I'm trying to figure out and will go with the Emersongear tactical belt I got a little while ago from Taiwan Gun - much cheaper than taking a chance on the Warrior version. Although I'm considering the Warrior Falcon rig if I can't get on with the tactical belt, just need to try it all out in game.

Ordered one of their G36 hop units on the 10th, in the evening so it obviously wasn't dispatched until the following day, arrived today (the 15th) well packed and in perfect condition. I've ordered stuff from the UK that's taken longer to arrive. Really cannot fault that sort of service. 👍

Following @Asomodai's recommendation I've order an AirsoftPro hop unit for my G36, together with a couple of Prommy purple hop rubbers - one for that and I might try the other in my G&G M4. Already use the Prommy in the G36 but it's been in there quite a while so could probably do with replacing anyway.

Sounds like with your setup you're manually checking the cells are balanced? The Imax (and other specific balance chargers) do it automatically for you, just set the charge rate, the number of cells and leave it to it. You can still manually check the balance by cycling through the display but I just wait for it to start bleeping like silly when it's done.

Night Evolution M600C, magwell grip, tan rail covers for the Sopmod, plus Battleaxe 2500 round drum mag to turn the G36 into a hosepipe (also expensive night game fun with tracers), now thinking about how to add a remote switch to it (it's not sound operated) and maybe a quicker motor as I have a suspicion that it won't keep up with the flaming thing's ROF!! Got a promotion at work, nice pay rise, they didn't manage to put it into effect in time for January so February wage caught up, result is that I went a bit silly: TM M4 Sopmod Recoil Shock ET1 Wiring converter 2 x Turnigy 1200mah LiPos 3 x PTS EPM Mid Caps 1 x TM Hi Cap Nuprol large hard case Lowa Z8N GTX boots Mechanix gloves Lots more BBs!! And still got lots more on the shopping list but I think my wife might not let me buy much more for a while! Not had chance to use the M4 yet but had a play in the garden and the range is seriously impressive on .25s and I'm loving the mock recoil (a long way from real steel but still good fun). Have to admit I'm totally in love with my Lowas though - light, comfy, warm and waterproof, can't fault them.

Cheers SD, I've been on the Component Shop website and found a 7.4V that should fit nicely with space to spare. That's where I usually get my batteries from and he's not too far from me so I might get in touch and see if I can collect. It was the B6 charger I was thinking of getting, I'd rather buy a good one and only buy once - not get a cheapo and end up spending more on something decent later. Excellent!! Time for a couple of LiPo's, charging bags, balance charger etc etc etc. This hobby really is a money pit!!

So, I've just bought a Cyma CM.041 and have to say it's damn good fun straight out of the box! My only issue is that the batter fits in the front hand guard and it's a bit tight on space in there. Unfortunately it will only fit an 8.4v NIMH split type battery (crane stock) in there as it seems the extra space taken up with the extra cell on a 9.6V is just a little too much to get the hand guard to fit properly without trapping any wiring. My question is, would it be possible to use a 7.4V LiPo without having to upgrade the wiring and fitting a mosfet or will I just fry the trigger contacts? And would it even be worth it, should I just settle for using the 8.4V instead? If the consensus is that LiPo is the way to go but I need to do the upgrades then I'll probably stick with it as is for now and leave the fiddling for later, still working on the upgraded wiring loom for my G36C!
