Thanks guys,👍 I have spares Ive collected over the years, assume the non fan version lenses are the same as the fan ones as I think they are mixed up!🤦‍♂️😂 It’s odd though, I’m sure I’ve used the wipes before on the googles, recently used abbey anti fog and has been fine tbh, the revisions frame is falling apart where it seals below the eye area, so time to hunt for new ones any recommendations?, mainly for a 15yr old, as they are my old pair from 2015!

Had an issue yesterday with both sets of lenses. Both goggles were fan versions. both working well, but at lunchtime, I decided to wipe both with a fog tech wipe for the afternoon game, it was like the lens reacted with the wipe solution and then started to peel. any ideas?? I wonder if it’s just taking off the original anti-fog coating? Time to order some more lenses🤦‍♂️

I’ve had ESS and revision fan googles since 2016. Never been 100% but they work. They are better with all the foam removed as they are designed for military not us with toy guns! I’ve found revision wipes are good as well as fog tech ones but everyone is different so what works for some may not for others, it’s just trial and error

Coloured RED bit (as on phone and never been able to change it to red in all my years on here! 🙄) Q1 need a new battery charger that can charge more than one battery at a time, min 2 tbh any ideas, kinda out of touch with new chargers 😂 Q2 whats new in eye pro?, still use my ESS fan googles or revisions ones but looking to upgrade now my son wants to play more… TIA 👍😉

I’d be interested to see how these work?, also, what are you using for your cap as I sometimes wear one or a boonie in games and currently just using the in ear headphones

about £60.....but thats just clothing / accessories for my son... he uses the rest of my stuff, i bought loads of 'generic' clothing i can wear for normal day use but i think only £12 on a battery so far that's airsoft's related that i can remember

Bit late to the party but I remember those days of first AEG, back in 2015 raiders were the choice then as well, I did however go for an ICS UK1R, still use it today, but played once since 2019 😂🤦‍♂️ My 14 yr old has played a game, due to age restrictions, couldn’t go sooner, and loved it, luckily though I’ve amassed a small armoury and wardrobe collection he is almost set but I feel your pain of duplicating most equipment 🙁, I’ve kind of all gone M4 base with the AEGs, even the G36 (ICS G33), takes M4 mags so atleast he can use my hi-caps 😂 just make sure he enjoys it, one thing I would recommend is radios for you both, my worst fear was the ‘cease fire’ call and man down!, I was the only one moving looking for him with that parent fear something had happened to him….found him with another youngster and loads of big kids preparing to storm a building having the time of him life 😂😂😂🤦‍♂️ hence radios…!

Didn't really pay attention to this as my old radios worked fine. Having bought 2 new Uv5Rs, i didnt read the description, even though it was in bright yellow (forgot my range anyway) so went ahead Click here to view an Ebay posting of an example seems they are locked out above 440MHz to transmit even if you do have the license, all my frequencies being over 440 it seems, you can factory reset them which on the 2 new ones has fixed the issue thanks to youtube but one of my old ones doesn't want to play ball. So when you use chirp to upload the data, the PTT button will only beep and wont allow transmit after anyone else had this issue recently? (assuming we are all doing this legally here!)

yeah, ive been looking for a new pair as found out friday night my fan has failed on a pair of Rev goggles, had to lend my son another set and went with the ESS ones....but needed that pair to work due to thermal lens wondering whether they are discontinuing them?, Smiths though havent been around for years now tempted with that ex fog pack....

Played my first game since 2019 yesterday at GMA Tuddenham, even took my 14 yr old who i hardly saw the entire game as he was off enjoying himself and my brother who less so 😂 2 dead batteries but other two were fine after all that time….
