Using hsa n nub and clear r hop. I think it's just the fact I've set it up so that the smallest amount of hop creates lift as its maybe a 'thou of an inside the barrel window if you know what I mean,?

Yeah I can get it totally flat, then droops off only need a small amount of hop on to get it skywards

I used the r hop fitting kit and it's all perfect, I think the r hop is just very effective !

Since r hoping and tight boring my g63 I can get .25 bbs doing an awesome upwards curve with a small amount of hop so I've now got .28's and I can still get stupid amounts of lift on those so without having to spend d fortunes in buying increasingly heavier bbs does anyone have any graphs or charts or any info on hop/weight/ fps ratios Also any info on the spring power increase to weight of bb fps loss as at this rate I'll be able to use .32's or more and so looking at the relationship between weight and kinetic energy...

You are right, almost every life changing wound I know of has been from shrapnel, my best mate was opened up from the arm pit to the wrist by mortor shrap, that came over the compound wall if it had been a rifle round to the arm, chances are he'd still be serving now. Saying that the idiot should have been in the accom block not his basher like he was told...

A few units in afghan were testing that kit a few years ago, there's loads of stuff being developed and tested all the time, most of it doesn't go in to service though

I personally love using a pistol, in really CQB and FIBUA situations they are awesome, no rags ratteling about no unwieldy rifle and once you get used to it, if it's s good one accurate too. But if you don't have lots of cash stick the extra you would spend on the side arm on a better rifle.

A6.01 barrel won't do anything for accuracy all you'll get is more power, a wider bore is much more accurate as the projectile actually rolls in a perfect straight line along the top of the barrel as apposed to bouncing off each side of the barrel.

Cheers! modified with an Airsoft Masterpiece CNC alloy STI DVC slide, Elite 6.02 mm barrel, uprated recoil spring, AIP loading nozzle, Nine Ball hop and a Nine Ball gas router in the magazines. I'm getting 1 3/4 groups out of it and it's got the same range as my CQB modded G36c running on "black gas"

There is no reasonable excuse for this, you're a horrible person if you advocate causing unnecessary physical pain to another human being. I wouldn't have an issue with it, they were just another unit. We all go and do our job and get paid for it, we follow orders and that's it. that was theirs and they were very, very good at it. People need to get over it.

I'm finding it hard to find any reviews on sights, particularly red dot as my eotech clone was shot out last week. I know the rails are 20mm will air rifle sights fit too? So any recommendations for sights that don't obscure your vision, meaning aiming with both eyes open.

From what I've read it seems the longer contact patch of the r hop puts more back spin thus magnifying the Magnus effect compared to the standard hop. Which according to my mate who read quantum physics is totally correct. Can't argue with physics lol

The bb thing is the issue at the moment, I should have got a bag of .25 .28 &.30 whilst I was ordering stuff but didn't think my local site only ever has 20's so I'll have to get some and play a bit more... I've read about r-hop lifting 30's using standard spring so I'll get experimenting 😜 Any excuse to take it to bits again !

Righty ho... After fannying around with the hop, nub and bucking its shooting absolutely bang on straight !!! Thousands of an inch make a difference in this game it seems... So I'm getting straight flight for 117' with .20 bb's then it's falling,at that distance I can hit a chest size object, that seems good to me, what say he all... any more hop and its curving up. So I'd say accurate to 80' So the only way for more distance is a heavier bb and more hop... What do you guys think ?

Sooo, I've had the barrel out and shon a light from the muzzle end with a bb in the breech and the hop is just touching on the right, by a minuscule amount so very carefully sanded it with 8000 grit wet and dry by pressing on the right side of the hop rubber and sanding whilst it's fitted.... Let's see if that makes a difference !
