  1. Just purchased a Tokyo Marui VSR G-spec rifle and I'm looking to upgrade it (spring, piston, cyclinder, trigger etc). I've heard good things about the Laylax zero trigger, but it's expensive and costs almost as much as the rifle itself. So are there any good alternatives? The AirsoftPro one looks decent, but I can't seem to find one in stock. Also, is the stock hop rubber capable of lifting heavyweight bbs? Thanks in advance :)

  2. Just purchased a warrior single smoke grenade pouch and a warrior dump pouch both in olive drab, and ten EG smoke grenades. I've almost finished my DCS plate carrier setup and I'll upload some pictures soon when it's complete. I've also been trying to find a good pouch to hold mk5 thunderflashes but haven't found one yet. :)

  3. - Warrior QRS black sling.

    - Warrior olive drab M4 velcro mag pouch.

    - Cold steel leatherneck rubber knife with kydex sheath (because why not?) :P

    - Abbey predator ultra gas 700ml x2.

    - 6000 Blaster 0.25's.

    - Custom name and flag patch.

    - Enola gaye mk5 thunderflashes x3.

These damn UK Tac discounts keep getting to me haha! Now searching for some clothing and extras to add to my plate carrier. I want a decent UBACS type shirt once I've decided on a specific camo, and I might invest in a division six lower face mask and bollé glasses. ^_^

  4. Hmmmm 2016.... I might purchase a Krytac SPR and do some modifications to make it like a DMR. I'm planning on locking it to semi, installing a 6.03 tightbore and m120 spring, and using mid caps and heavier ammo. As I said previously, I will continue to develop my loadout and I will go for either a kryptek mandrake or olive drab camo base layer. Alternatively, I might just purchase a TM VSR and gradually upgrade it to be a 500 fps monster'! ;)

  5. I like to be unique also and so I probably wont follow the trend of mtp/multicam when I eventually purchase some clothing. I must confess I do like the look of multicam; however I'm more inclined to go completely OD as I don't see many people wearing the camo and it would blend in nicely with a woodland environment. ^_^

  6. I received my daggernose herosharks yesterday and the quality is absolutely fantastic! I originally had the large nuprol mesh goggles but I changed to these because I wanted a higher quality lower profile set of eyepro. I've found the nuprols to have a better and more comfortable full seal, however the herosharks aren't as dark as the nuprols and my vision is less obstructed. As others have said, the mesh is very strong and the goggles seem to be very durable. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and I would recommend herosharks. ;)

  7. Was pay day yesterday so I had a little airsoft spending frenzy:

    - Heroshark Daggernose mesh goggles.

    - x2 TM Glock 17 magazines.

    - x2 M4 hi-cap magazines.

    - Speed loader.

    - Warrior patches.

    - Warrior triple velcro M4 magazine pouch.

    - Warrior small horizontal utility pouch.

    ^_^

Also going to purchase a division six black multicam mesh mask once they're back in stock.

  8. My plan is to finally complete my loadout. I'm going for the engineer loadout from BF4 because it just looks so tacticool. Still undecided if I should run multicam or completely OD; most people I've seen run multicam/mtp so I don't really want to follow that trend. I'm also going look at purchasing a higher end aeg to go with my desired loadout, and I hope to do some research into weapon modification to enable me to perhaps undertake a project at some point in the near future. :P

  9. Bit late but I've finished modding my serpa and the glock now fits great! Still need to smooth the inside down a little because it's still a little rough, however other than that it's fine. Took about an hour to do in the shed with my dremel haha. Really looking forward to using it this Sunday along with my other new gear! :D

The glock is now black because I've recently acquired a defence (Dad now has UKARA and I originally received the gun as a gift).

  10. When I attempt to put the glock in the holster I can see it's really close to fitting (about a cm away from fitting nicely). It's roughly a cm away from engaging the retention button, and it's the nozzle area of the gun that is too wide for the serpa. Everything else seems to be the correct dimensions, so after dremeling the nozzle area of the serpa a little the gun should fit fine. I'll do this tomorrow morning and will post an update! :)

  11. Take wet-and-dry to it, yeh. It's going to take you maybe 20-30 minutes but it's worth it.

TM Glocks are almost 1mm wider than the real steel.

Ahh that's a relief! I was worried that even with modification the glock still might not fit. I'll use this method tomorrow then, thanks a lot! :)

  12. So last week I purchased a genuine blackhawk serpa holster for my TM glock 17 and it arrived yesterday. I should've done some basic research before ordering it because the gun is slightly too wide for the holster. I don't really want to have to return it as that would be a hastle and the holster is actually very nice! So are there any simple mods I can do to the holster for it to accomodate the glock? Could I file/sand the inside of the holster down a little using a dremel? I've heard that heating the serpa with a hair dryer can work because it's made of a pliable material, but I'm still not too sure. If anyone has any recommendations then it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
