  1. Afternoon All,

Just wondering how much one of these is worth. It's in good condition and I believe it's ever so slightly adjustable as I know some aren't.

This comes with the twist mount so It can be easy taken off and sits at the correct height for an EoTech and even T1 sights.
  2. Basically you cut out a window in the straw for the hop adjuster and make it the same size as the nub, then install it. It basically reduces any wobble you may get. Most receivers are fine and the nub is snug fitting, but if you're getting inconsistency this is a brilliant mod

  3. Afternoon All,

I'm purely just putting out some feeler here in regards to how much these are worth:

    Tippmann 192 -
Has had the sear replaced with the new version.
Internally the gun is sound and works amazingly. Only internal upgrades are the new sear and spring, alongside a Tani Koba Twist Barrel.
Externally the gun as a shortened outer barrel and stubby silencer, alongside a Noveske 7" SWS rail.
    FPS is around 330 +/- 2 fps
Full auto is set on my current tank, but would need to be tuned again depending on setup

    Aimpoint/PEQ/MOE Grip no included

    Tippman 206
Internally this gun in standard and being a later model already has the correct sear and spring. This one has never been outside my house and needs a setup.
Externally this comes with a Gieselle 13" rail, with Scar style QD flashhider and silencer. and an MOE stock.

Both guns have been well maintained and perform brilliantly.

I'm not 100% set on selling these, but if the right offer comes along i could be interested. I've recently moved onto GBBR's such as GHK/WA and am enjoying the realism. I do love these guns though and a lot of work went into 192 to get it the unique look it has.

On a side note, these are both set to run HPA and the CO2 mags have moved on.

Any ideas on price for either one would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Dan

  4. that's what I've been told to do. The shop I spoke to said it's coming out soon so I thought I would wait. Only issue is it's so expensive, plus the cost of the LPR :(

  5. At no point was anyone bitching, people were querying it, myself included. Reason being I was considering getting an SMP and 90m sounded damn impressive. 70m sounds bang on for a half decent gun on HPA.

In regards to a helpful answer,as mentioned HPA gun's are widely documented as working well with wide bores.

"wide bore barrels provides better accuracy because the air around the BB forms a tunnel preventing it from bouncing irregularly inside the barrel and as the polar star fusion engine can provide almost unlimited air flow so no worries about losing FPS"

As I don't own an SMP yet, I can't comment myself, but I know from using other guns that the slight vibrations from the GB can affect the barrel. Might be s simple suggestion, but is the inner barrel reallt tight inside the outer?

  6. I have to agree with Dex, The only reviews seen/people I know who can hit 80+ using an SMP is with an R-Hop, 407 mm barrel and shooting 400+ FPS with a .25. Not meaning to take anything away from you and I hope it doesnt come across as I am.

If you laser measured out 90m and recorded a video, I'd buy one.......instantly. I was considering getting the new Wolverine Hyrda and actually emailed the grange today about it, I was speaking to them about getting it put into a broken Famas I have :P

However my Tippmans have performed really well, have great range plus the added recoil. Not to mention for £380 I get an entire gun.

But if a wolverine unit can really hit that far, I know what my next purchase will be :)

Plus it would be awesome to take a Famas to a game and no one have a clue what's inside lol

In regards to the accuracy, with the gas flow it's widely documented that you for for a wide bore barrel, 6.13 up to 6.23. There's god knows how many discussions about wide bores and their performance.

On a side note, if I do pick up an Hyrda/SMP would I be able to ping you a few questions seeing as you've got one and did the install etc

  7. Hi All,

I have a broken and old FAMAS that I'm thinking I may try to get rid of rather than post.

    Some points about the gun:

1)It was sprayed over in a red colour when I bought it, easy to remove.
    2) It is missing the cheek piece
    3) it has 4 High cap mags, which are like tough to get nowadays.
    4) It comes with the scope mount, also hard to get.
    5) Theres no battery, but it comes in its original box.

I have no idea why this rifle isn't working, it's simply does nothing when a battery is plugged in and I can't be bothered to repair it myself. A certain seller on the "bay of E" sells the complete V1 gearbox, should it need to be repaired, but as I've been told on here it could be something simple.

Any ideas on pricing would be good, I'm just trying to get an idea of what I could get rid of it for or weather to just grab the gearbox and get a retailer to install and service the gun.

  8. Evening All,

So ages ago I got given an old TM Famas which was dead, simply never did anything. Put a battery in and no sounds or anything.

Just wondering if there's any parts available for these, I'm aware that are very very old guns. In fact I think this one is about 8 years old :S

I've had it sat in it's box for a few years now and I can't be bothered to sell it as it's fairly heavy and postage will cost a bomb as it has a few hicaps.

Are there any people/shops that are likely to be able to repair it? or does anyone sell the Gearbox?

I'm based in Sussex if anyone can help or fancies having it dirt cheap.
