    You lend guns to mates. once they pay for something you need to supply a service and unless you have a contract what happens to your guns is your problem. This sort of thing is the reason friendship ends. If you loan some one a gun you either have to not care if it breaks or trust your friend enough that they will do right by you.

    I think it's based on a existing foam dart molding. It's not going to be good. there is no room for one of the existing versions of airsoft gearbox so it's going to be proprietary. I still don't care I'll buy one and carry on with my 3d printed GBB project. I have several real steal parts, folding stock, trigger guard, heat shield, mags and old maruzen springer gas block, a file for the receiver and learning fusion 360 to design bolt and hop unit mount (think of using a VFC AR hop).

    Used to be friends with a site owner, he didn't keep enough reserve hire guns so I a few of use who considered him a friend lent our spare guns to the rentals who guns had failed. All of us got broken guns back and no offer to pay for them to be fixed. One of the reasons we ain't friend any more. Most airsofters have the mechanical sympathy of an enraged gorilla that goes double for hire players. When I have marshalled had too many hire players hand back a broken gun with a pistol grip so hot you can fry an egg on it and a barrel full of woodlands.

    Definitely second the waiver suggestion. I’d be wary if the invite was being extended to friends of friends (which essentially counts as complete unknowns in my book). The last thing you want is to be on the receiving end of a civil case for personal injury when said friend-of-friend wants to launch a case against Mtemprell for loss of an eye etc.

    With your guns being either broken or stolen would be my initial answer. What are you thinking? People collect them from your home and then take them to their site of choice? Or you are going to go to a specific site and rent them out of the boot of your car, presumably undercutting the site’s own rental prices? Case A sounds like a recipe for never seeing any of your kit again. Case B sounds like some angry site operators telling you to clear off. Or did you mean leasing to a site operator to use to supplement their own rental stock? If so, I expect no-one will take you on as their insurance is unlikely to cover it.

    Leasing to who? If you mean other players that sounds like a great way to get your guns broken, or worse, stolen. People tend to treat rented things way worse than if they owned them and the cost of repairs will be far more than you'll make. Not to mention I doubt any site owner will be happy about it.

    Have you guys ever tried leasing, giving out your guns to use for rental. If you have how does it work and how much would you charge haha. leasing my guns has been on my mind for some time.

    That's not entirely true. Not all TM Hi Capas have threaded outer barrels with the Gold Match being one of them unless that has revised in the past 18 months. I swapped mine out for a metal threaded (internal) so it maintains the aesthetic.

    G&G EBR 14 Long boxed with extras – Scope, PEQ Battery box, Harris style bipod, one magazine and Tamya to Dean’s adapter as well as official scope adapter and rail riser/extender. never skirmished with but a small scratch and nick from use at home.     Cheers bud. That was my mind set too. I'm not shy of doing risk assessments (do them regularly at work the pain of working as an engineer) so that definitely will be getting done. Luckily I've spoken to people that live nearby the area and all are happy as long as I provide enough cover preventing bbs entering their property so that's a bonus there having the residents on side.
