Yeah that's the one, I picked one up from Tiger111 though, think it totalled to £11. The chap has sent it back today so once I receive it the total will be refunded and then once I get the catch I'll replace it and it'll go back into my collection. Hopefully nothing else has got damaged along with it

If you had a massive cock and balls maybe (so its fine for me) they are made with MMA in mind so work well in all sorts of positions.

Could be either way to be honest - who knows. If it were me, I might be tempted simply to pick up a replacement slide stop and send it to the buyer as a gesture - presume that its one of these? https://www.18airsoft.com/products/army-armament-original-slide-stop-for-r501-r601-gbb-airsoft-army-162 £4+ postage

I bought this from the classifieds last week under the assumption it was a Cyma, sadly it was a WE Aeg. The rifle itself is pretty nice, however I don't like the extras on the gearbox shell like the bolt latch etc which seem important to the case sitting in the receiver correctly. When I received it, the motor sounded like it was dying so I've replaced it with another generic V2 style motor. The hop unit has a maple leaf yellow bucking and an omega nub fitted. The inner barrel has marks to show it's been cut down, not sure why. I hollowed the stock out a bit more so that the battery connector could be pulled through should it need disassembly at any point - This was done when I replaced the Tamiya connector with a Deans style connector. The receiver had some scratches which I covered over with paint however the paint as well as a horrible CE mark, however admittedly the paint hasn't covered the CE mark very well. Will be sent with one mid cap which I received when I purchased the replica, as well as the carry handle. Price includes postage and fees. No original box etc as it was sent to me the same way. Low FPS, around 0.7J which I assume is due to the shorter inner barrel. Never got around to fixing it up when I saw the WE gearbox shell as I knew I wouldn't be keeping it. Knew I'd forget something - Not pictured but it will include a KAC style broom handle grip120.00 GBP

could just be bad luck as the part is cast brittle pot metal and broke at a stress point.

That's exactly what I thought as well. Seems very unlikely that the slide would be forced back in the box when it was secure in the foam. Offered for him to return it and I'll refund if it was a genuine breakage but it seems very unlikely that it was a damage caused by Parcelforce - I've shipped plenty of things out (Mostly to you Gav 😂) and they've never arrived damaged, in fact this is the first time in over 70 sales roughly (Both accounts combined) where something has gotten broken.

Sounds like a brute force & ignorance breakage.

@Tommikka - Thank you for the suggestions Tomm! Are these any brands for trousers you recommend? (Paintball and non paintball) Just did a quick search on paintball trousers and doesn't seem that there are long trousers with padding around thighs, I only see the shorts.

Bandolier for extra mags? When I wear my ALICE, I keep 30 rnd mags in the pouches & 20 rnd mags in a bandolier, I have a 5 mag pouch but it's far too heavy & too easy for a mag to fall out. Weighs a tonne anyway when the mags are GBB

@Davet Was looking at these, don't they cause issues when prone? @Chev Chelios Does it become uncomfortable when going prone?

I took a nut shot but I found wearing a sports cup was much worse as it dug into my thighs and groin. I make do with a dangler pouch at the bottom of my plate carrier. I agree with Tommikka about going baggy if you can. Unfortunately with my proportions, there's no such thing as baggy for me without getting it tailored.

No - that would be silly. Circling it above the head, before lassoing the objective is where it is at.

I've been hit there are few times, but to be fair when its as big as mine, that was always gonna happen😜 Yeah, its not pleasant, but neither is taking an up close burst up the inside of your thigh, or across your lower back/kidneys. Unless your planning on doing the whole bomb suit & minigun loadout, surely finding a balance of kit that doesn't restrict you, cause heatstroke or discomfort, & generally affects your ability to play is paramount, offset by the rare chance of a stray bb to the 🌭. Sports cup, or maybe a dangler pouch worn low should do the job ?

Do people just run into buildings, cock and balls first or something? I've been hit in that region and the clothing takes 99% of the impact

Shock Doctor 329 Jockstrap. I was surprised how comfortable they are. Wore it for 8 hours to "bed it in" and I forgot it was on. Can remove and fit the protective insert while wearing the Jockstrap so doubles as a gas mag worming pouch in the winter between games
