A guy at my local site has the exact same issues as you (older, wider, and broken) and he uses an SSX303 as a DMR and loves it. His has the shot shell HPA adapter as @The_Lord_Poncho stated above as that makes carrying ammo a lot easier and a lot lighter. I personally don't like it because the trigger pull is horrible due to the double action trigger, and it's harder to cock the hammer (teehee) manually, but if you get the right parts they shoot well and with the HPA adapter they can be tuned very easily. Another popular option that goes more towards sniping (as it's a bolt action) would be a Tac41 lite. They're very light and very easy to carry, with a single extended mag holding 110rds you may even get away with not carrying any spare mags for it and just reload the mag between games.

I've fortunately only seen it... twice over the almost 20 years I've been playing. Both times it's been over something incredibly stupid and trivial, and fortunately I've never actually had anyone throw a punch at me; being 6'5" definitely helps there, as the guy who squared up to me in that Vietnam game a few years ago did think better of it and walked away eventually. And you're totally right. Fisticuffs over BB wars is turbo-cringe.

For sale is my ODIN thermal monocular. Great compact little unit. Fits in the palm of your hand. Perfect to have in your pack until you need it. 3x base mag, or 6 x zoom. I have the 2M, if you want me 2p on it... Budget for an upgraded barrel at time of purchase as the stock is a strange 2 piece affair that's horribly inaccurate Because there isn't a sensibly priced aftermarket barrel the correct length, the most cost effective way is to get a more common "long pistol" barrel, which is about 145mm long As this is shorter than the stock barrel the power will drop, so you need to buy the excellent Sabre airsoft npas kit or to widen the brass part of the stock nozzle to bring the power back up Stock hop bucking isn't great, best to swap it while doing the barrel. Also while ordering the NPAS from Sabre order their flat hop adaptor thing The hop unit & barrel aren't necessarily aligned too the nozzle from the factory, and the inner barrel may be a little loose in the outer barrel, so some electrical tape shimming & some time tuning may be needed Mags (I have five) have all been great thus far As a £250 gun - with £50 of upgrades - and some time tuning in the garage it's a cracking bit of kit!

Have not used the MD but own the D as well as M handguard and stock. May need a change of inner barrel but both shoot exceptionally with minimal recoil. The stock on the D is non-adjustable and slightly too short for me personally; while the MD is just an enlarged version of the M with a different nozzle/stock. Looks wise, buy the D if you want to mount a full size marksman scope - the MD for a magnifier or LPVO. Of course, you may choose to replace the plastic externals anyway. Just be aware both are heavier than they look. My advice would be to buy the M variant and use the money saved to purchase the Semi lower, that way it can switch between normal and DMR usage with a nozzle switch or Sabre NPAS. There is always the option of a mock suppressor to cover an extended inner barrel. Cannot comment on magazine quality. Good luck.

Yes, as long as it isn't some stupid "high speed" motor. By high speed I mean those 40k+ neodymium motors, they're overly expensive for what they are and very limiting in upgrade routes. Usually it's the opposite, especially when a weak motor is trying to pull a somewhat stiff spring. Care to take a video of the issue?

About 8 Kilograms of used G36 parts. These are empty shells for the most part. The most complete is an S&T that I slotted together for the pictures - disassembled again for packing. The S&T forend, rail and folding stock are ex blue two tone repainted black. There are two S&T Gearbox shells and some internal parts and a standard V3 gearbox shell. The other bodies are a Classic army, an unmarked clone and a real antique airsoft wise, a Star!🙂. There are some other parts in the loose parts box (pic. 2) - Selector parts, a hop unit and rubber, screws etc. The S&T, quick spring change, gearboxes have some additional cutouts and parts related to EBB and anti reversal latch release (ease springs! 😁), though there is no use for either on this version, so some of the additional bits are not with it. All of the parts are used, so all will show wear and tear, some will be damaged or faulty or incomplete and only useful as donor bits for other projects. £50.00 the lot. Hand held cordless, I've snapped a pic of the bits I used too. It's not perfect as the chamfer tool is too steep angled to perfectly smooth it all out but it's a bloody good job for 10 mins work and worked really well on the Sunday. With a 4uantum bucking and nub I was getting 60-70m range on .3

With my Sixmm order arriving, the m14 scope mount looks great; will put that away with the TNT hop unit for when I do the WE m14 project... However, to nobody's surprise, they sent me the wrong bloody springs, so now I need to source some G&G m700 gas router springs for my 6 short magazines that I'm upgrading to (hopefully) be usable. The stock KJW m700 short magazines are awful out of the box, but with the upgraded gas router spring and the upgraded strikers and internals they're supposed to be really good. Got the internals sorted, now just need those springs! -

So complete transparency here this is having some feeding issues where I’ve noticed some bbs loose in the receiver when playing, not sure why but not got round to sorting it. I’ve have put a lot of time into building the external side but I’m not too handy with fixing things.
