AAP-01 SMG build with a bunch of upgrade parts. Works fantastically as a super lightweight SMG. There is are small cosmetic scratches on the front of the bolt (see photo). However, the majority of parts in this gun are hardly used. I tinker more than I play. Reason for sale is I'm itching to move onto a new GBB project, but I feel guilty owning more than ~4 guns at a time. God knows how much I've spent on this one. Externals - Action Army AAP SMG kit (handguard and barrel) - Action Army AAP folding stock - Tridos adjustable trigger - Tridos universal holster mount - TTI extended charging handle with selector switch - NexxSpeed magazine catch - STALKER top rail Internals - CowCow steel hammer set - CowCow steel fire pin lock - CowCow steel auto sear - CTM purple enhanced nozzle set with NPAS (brand new) - NexxSpeed hopup chamber (black with red wheel, brand new) - NexxSpeed hard concave nub (brand new) - Unicorn 60 degree bucking (brand new) - Unicorn 138mm inner barrel (brand new) - Hadron short stroke bouncer kit - Waldo "lil snap" nozzle return spring - CowCow 150% recoil spring Other - AirTac AAP-01 to MP5 HPA adapter - x5 MP5 straight magazines (110 rnd) - x2 AAP/Glock gas magazines (23 rnd) - Novritsch universal holster - Hard foam filled carry case Price includes postage. Can alternatively be collected from Staines upon Thames. Suppressor, red dot and foregrip are not included!£365

I think you're right, it is M14-2, you can see where the little hop adjuster passes through the front. But i agree it looks like the hop's broken. If the snapped part was metal it's by silver where broken, and it looks like there's a clean break seperate from the 2 horizontal ribs either side.

Hmm - the below is the parts diagram for the equivalent TM model (which I presume the Cyma is largely/entirely based upon). It's rather difficult to fathom out - is it part M14-2 ? But - I’ve just had a look at my (assembled) CM032 - that whole part you circle is made of metal. From your original photo, it looks like the part that has snapped is plastic? If so, it is simply the feed tube that is part of the hop unit passing through a hole in that plate. It's a while since I had mine apart so i can't say for certain, but if you are able to ascertain the snapped part on yours is plastic, that’s a good clue that it is the hop unit that needs replacing only.

No it's not the bottom of the hop unit unfortunately (would be easier to find parts) this whole section circled in red is what I need.

Here we have my hpa m870. Good bit of fun this one, great for CQB. You can select 3 or 6 shots per trigger pull and has the ability to slam for quick fire. Shotgun has added top and side picatiny rail, MP4 mag adapter and 6 shotgun shells. I'm happy to answer questions or send a video of it in action if required. Each shotgun shell holds 30 rounds or any M4 mid/hi cap mag can be used. happy to post if required£115

A good counter if they try to pull that one on you though would be "You sold it to me as a V2, and the process of setting the hop on a V2 requires slide removal."

As another option, some green gas pistols can work in winter too - non blow backs like the MK23 (if you can stand the firm and mushy trigger), or those that have little recoiling mass - like the AAP. If you have struggled with GBB pistols in the winter but haven’t yet tried an AAP, that might be worth a try. I run mine on MAPP gas in the winter, and as a secondary, it's been spot on down to zero degrees and a little below. Caveated to say - that's use as a secondary - i.e. 5 quick shots every now and then to get me out of trouble when people are in my MED. I suspect use as a primary in the dead of winter, it would still be sub par.

Looks like it to me too. Take it slow and methodical to get the M14 apart, and take an especial note of how the fake bolt mechanism comes apart/goes back together as you do it - M14s can be a bit frustrating, and to swap the Hop out, there is a fair bit of disassembly to do. Worth the effort though, just take a few photos as you take it apart as an aide memoir (assuming you haven’t done it before of course!).

Need Some Advice – Struggling to Maintain My MWS Setup
Hobbnob replied to Ulmocuk's topic in General Discussion
O rings can be easy to replace but getting the size right can be a frustrating initial cost. For standard TM MWS mags, I use m4 x 1 and M12 x 1.5. For the nozzle, which brand of nozzle did you replace it with? Some brands like angry gun have a higher failure rate than average, but it can also be caused by loading the magazines to max capacity which then puts upward pressure on the nozzle, leading it to come into battery at an incorrect angle and break -

Old? What an understatement, some have weeds growing out of them!
-
What gun and NPAS is it? Do you mean set up or install? For setting up, with a chrono it takes probably 10 mins to set the NPAS and hop probably about the same.
-
The general consensus is that AEPs are dogshit and a waste of money, poor performance and horrendous trigger response. Better off with a CO2 pistol, work all year round, largely unaffected by cooldown, etc. This was recommended to me by @Colin Allen and he was absolutely spot on, and i've only used CO2 pistols since. I have Umarex/VFC Glock CO2 mags i run in my other Glock GBBs without issue. Going by the SSE18 i'm guessing you're fine with Glocks, so worth a look. (I put the CO2 mags in my 18c and the full-auto is fast.) Also have an Umarex/KWC CO2 H&K USP, which is really nice but all proprietry inside which mostly rules out upgrades.
