This is probably the exact case. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if this whole ordeal is just another way of getting RIFs out the door. Maybe if the law was actually revised to make sense and give collectors some way of getting RIFs whilst proving that they’re not going to take them on the rob then we’d have less of this silly tip toeing about some companies are trying to pull. JustCos accepting retailers seem to be playing on the “insured activity” part of the VCRA, but I feel like if that were the case, surely, something like a practical shooting society would better fit that bill? Especially with the whole “Recreation of military or law enforcement scenarios” part of the exceptions, since practical shooters are literally running around partaking in doing exactly that, as they’re often doing courses used to train military and LEO personnel. This defense is extraordinary to me because it’s only airsoft retailers that accept it from what I’ve seen, all the non firing replica weapon stores like SOF, who sell non firing replicas that would be more appealing to cosplay events, don’t seem to acknowledge its existence. Furthermore, many major public cosplay events don’t even allow realistic imitation firearms.

Has anyone had any experience with this store? They've got a sale on and was wondering if they're a good place to buy from? Cheers!

You need to get it up to about 280-290 fps (300 is hot!), which is a considerable increase and, if the current spring is an M100, is going to need at least an M110 spring. However, assuming that the barrel and cylinder are properly matched, you may well have a poor air seal, which you would be well advised to sort out. Give the barrel a good clean with isopropyl alcohol as well.

Selling my Tokyo Marui MK46 NGRS it’s fantastic to use very fun to put supressive fire down with its a nice bit of kit. Unfortunately I don’t use it much at all only used a handful of times. Completely stock internals can lift up to .3 to an effective range. This rifle also includes the 1300 round battery powered box magazine I do also have a brand new unused 1300 round box magazine too which will be included in the sale. The mk46 storage/carry bag is also included with this rifle. Also have two 7.4 lipo batteries included. The sling is not included. I would prefer collection to make sure the buyer is happy and also I’m not posting due to its weight and size.£900

Good bucking and barrel and ensuring it's all in place properly and snugly in the hop unit to start with, after that it means opening the gearbox up and getting good air nozzle/cylinder etc. parts

how do you ensure a good seal?
-
You don't want to beat 300 on 0.28s. The 1.14J limit will be approximately 295fps. Rather than opening the gearbox and swapping the spring, you'll probably be better off ensuring you have a good air seal, as well as bucking & barrel which should get you to what you want.
-
i believe it was called an M something.... looking i think its the m100. next question is then will the mofset need upgrading as well?
-
There are so many variables that it is almost impossible to say. What spring is currently fitted?
-
Hi, I am running 0/28s and was wandering if anyone knows what spring would get me to about 300fps. I am currently at 250. Any recomendations?

I have a Cyma Glock AEP but its currently gathering dust as it seems the motor stopped working and it's beyond my capabilities to fix. It was a fun little pistol with the full auto but the trigger response was terrible, felt like a full second after pulling the trigger before a BB actually fired!

Oh, is this for garden use rather than skirmishing? The ASG Ruger is quiet, can be had for under £50, but comes in at 1.3J. You can verrrry carefully file down the hammer to reduce that if you want to skirmish it. If this is purely for slinging BBs at short ranges, you could also consider an AEP. Any of the CYMA AEPs will make more noise from the motor than the pop from the tiny cylinder.
