This is clearly the "I spent almost as much as the rifle on overpriced repro bits added to the rifle, i'm going to be lazy and not list them separately"

In my opinion, the M&P9L and hicapa 4.3 are vastly different pistols. The 9L is a “long barrel” pistol. Similar in length to the hicapa 5.1. Personally I’d recommend the Hicapa as they have a more abundant spare parts and upgrades. the M&Ps used to have loads of upgrades and spare parts but most of that has dried up as popularity dropped off.

I have an RRV I've been using quite a bit lately and have found that it's just not great for use with battle belts or shooters belts. It's an old school design which while still valid and great for what it is, was never designed to be run with anything much beyond a riggers belt to hold your pistol holster. If you have a "proper" RRV style rig you should be able to fold up the bottom row of molle and clip it in place to allow for more clearance around your waist, if not then try and place any mag pouches/pistol holster no further forward than your 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock points, anything bulky definitely wants to go towards the back (dump pouch, GP pouches etc). If you're using a pistol holster look at either a drop leg or a low ride mount to give you a bit more clearance. As for the mag pouches ON the rig, I run four double M4 mag pouches (old Eagle Industries type ones with the flaps), offset towards the left (I'm right handed) with a couple of grenade pouches on the left end and a 200rnd LMG pouch on the right (holds my TAGs and launcher). I usually run it with a shooters belt but have changed the pistol mag pouches to slanted ones to get more clearance and run a low ride belt loop with a QLS style clip on the holster which helps with clearance too. MOLLE II canteen pouch holds my Odin loader and a dump pouch at the 7-8 o'clock position rounds it all off.

FTFY. Things that grind my gears? People. Things that grind my gears on airsoft forums? Airsofters. Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
LMKipper replied to JVacation's topic in General Discussion
The time I went, I was really surprised by this - I think it was the first time I'd been to a site where the chrono was effectively voluntary (or more voluntary than other sites). However as Colin said it didn't seem to be a problem. There was a solid queue of people waiting to use them and I never really got a whiff of anything funny while I was there. -
Shhh We have actually done that for events - particularly for hilly sites with no radio range unless you are all on hilltops

Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Rogerborg replied to JVacation's topic in General Discussion
This is how I think it should work - as long as there is a significant amount of in-game going on. And it's fine to profile: bolties, HPA, gas guns (later in the day, don't stop chronoing after the first game), "silenced" Mk23s being used up close, anything that screams "DMR" but is brrrting. Pre-game chrono is effectively voluntary. Even when sites check tags, even when they cut off the rainbow of historic ones, or clip the excess off at the first game, all they're checking is that the gun might have been OK 20 minutes ago, assuming the player told the truth about BB weight and didn't change the spring, gas mag, hop, or regulator. Heck, my G36C has a spring adjuster built in which (after a service and nailing the air seal) can push it to... well, let's say very close to 1.3J, with a few turns of an Allan key. Ultimately what really matters is what a gun is actually producing at the instant where it shoots some kid in their earball. -
Apologies if this is in the wrong section I am looking for indoor ranges to play with my 14 year old kids. We have played UCAP Bunker and UCAP HMP Dorchester. Both very good sites however we are looking for something new. Google search didn't seem to offer much unfortunately so I would rather ask pepople in the know. Preferably full auto sites.

Morning! Take one £136 pistol + £40 for one extended seen as the other is goosed and you shouldn't be pricing for a magazine included with a RIF. So you're saving £16 buying second hand... Or pay £115 for it delivered from HK and £35 for an extendo. Does this need any elaboration? -
OP: "I just bought this, is this any good?" Forum: "not really" OP: "Well, let me tell you why it's good and you're all wrong"

Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Colin Allen replied to JVacation's topic in General Discussion
I cannot find the airsoft insurance details from when we had it for one off events, but it did not require us to chrono all guns, only those that had changes made to them since they were last checked. Neither did it state that they had to be checked by us. Regarding AP, chronos are available just outside the safe zone and players routinely use them; marshals then randomly check on the field. It is made very clear that anyone found with a hot gun will be sent home. When I first went there, this surprised me; however, having played there a lot, it is the only site where I have never come across complaints about players potentially having hot guns. There is something about the culture of the site, the way it is run and the attitude of the very large number of regular players that seems to prevent it being a problem. The other sites I play at chrono every gun; I do not feel any safer at them, probably less so.
