Well , now finally after waiting a decade. A 4.5 mm steel BB SVD is finally out for sale. Mine arrived today . Is it any good? No haha 😂 It is an exact clone of a A&K svd using the stock Co2 screw cap slam fire adapter module. Where the hop is , there is a pot metal drum with a 4.5 chamber, everything on the thing is the same the spring is the same , the only difference the mag is 4.5 and it's in 4.5. smooth barrel. In truth my stock A&K feels more solid. The dust cover release catch on this thing is so loose I can blow it open like blowing out a candle and that's not an exaggeration. If you turn the rifle upside down, the dust cover just falls off. I took exactly 18 shots ( the mag holds 18) some were sent , some were dry fire? On the 19th ( dry fire) The valve broke and it degassed and was broken. So from delivery to first test it lasted 10 minutes. The revolting plastic stock and hand rail of course I intended to change , but even these do not fit and seams are visible. Upon taking out the Co2 cartridge to inspect it after failure lots of 4.5 mm BB,s were rolling about inside the gun. The journey from the magazine to the ( hop up chamber action thingy is essentially based on blind faith, apparently you just hope the little BB,s kinda jump up and make it into the gun ! 😁. It's an absolute joke and a real shame 😤. Refund immediately tomorrow from just air guns , absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I bought it £275 and appreciated it was only going to be like my A&K in a more punchy calibre. But actually lower build quality sloppy , rattling and broke after 19 trigger pulls . FPS was pathetic as well , practically falling out of the barrel . For those interested the Co2 canister is the exact same widely available in air soft it's no different ( unless internally ) but side by side there is no difference. This is just a really bad cheap con. God I wish some one would make a steel high quality pellet rifle on this platform and just charge a £1000 and do it properly. As above. I don't think there are any sites in greater London since Bunker 51 closed last year so you'll need to look further out. Where abouts are you from?

Are you talking about just the switch pad and not the cover? Ali Express might have something similar as it sells switch pads individually, both for 2.5mm and 3.5mm.

In all likelihood you'll have to search further afield of Greater London. With a premium for leasing/buying property or suitable woodland, running an airsoft site in London isn't sustainable. Bunker 51 closed down a few months ago. Love waking the dead 🧟‍♂️ I know you should know what you are in for when ordering from Ali-X, but this one took me slightly by surprise. I ordered some M32 Mod 4 / SE32 (lol, you can see where this is going) with rail arms from Ali express for similar money to the post above. What arrived this afternoon was interesting. I received, in pretty poor/trashed packaging, some (presumably knockoff M32) SE32s with rail arms and a PTT. Unlike the official units, the packaging was insufficient, hence it got trashed by the farse that is Evri. No nice case/bag that comes with the legit models. The unit itself appears possibly unused, though the PTT was in the box for the rail arms, and the rail arms were in the box with the headset, so I suspect this was returned by someone and sent strait out to me. The whole thing looks like its been to Ukraine and back, which is fun, because its came in a Russian box with Russian instructions! I've not been to get some batteries to see if they work yet, also not sure I've got the nerve in-case they have been tampered with 😉. Has anyone else received something similar?

Good point as I'm not sure how well the magazine would keep up with that, though I still want to be able to use 11.1v batteries in this with a stronger spring, as currently the low power is just not what I want. Right now on 0.2g it would be 272 FPS, I'd want it closer to 300 at the minimum. Considering that, what mosfet should I look for and what power of spring? Also with the higher power of an 11.1v, would I need to change out the piston or motor to not destroy the internals?

Annoyingly I don’t seem to have particular props in my photo galleries @Cooperman26 I would recommend that you take your dynamite to your local, they may be willing to blow them up with some checks, but I’m more inclined that they would be willing to use them as dummies … or you could end up running your own themed game

Hi, I recently purchased a Manta switch cover in Black to match my current set up.Currently I have a Tan one which came with the PEQ 15. Unfortunately when attempting to change the pad/switch the wires snapped! It was a much more challenging than I had first anticipated.I am hoping to replace the 3.5 pad switch as I do like the Manta.However it is proving quite difficult to buy one on its own I can only assume it is because it old school. Any suggestions,advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated on my part ? Many thanks

What's that fps equate to on a .20 ? I'm a big believer in only "fixing" something when its broken, unless its performance is crap, boneyard level crap. Also, in the case of lmg's, sustainable support fire will be sacrificed if you try to get this up to aeg sewing machine speeds, something its irl equivalent was never meant to do, & you may well shorten its lifespan if you try to achieve that. Worth thinking about ?
