Returning to Airsoft and looking for an old AEG
Specte_i replied to Specte_i's topic in General Discussion
I originally started at Section 8, then played at what is now Biohazard Airsoft and also played at The Depot, all 3 have changed hands now I think lol -

Most MP5 handguards will fit (I emphasise the 'most' bit), I found a slim handguard for my embassy build but had to DIY an adapter to make it fit. RIS is a modern style, do you have a pic to show use what your plan is?
-
TBH I kinda like the belt when it was the other way round but yeah, it is meant to be at the back. You might find the belt & chest rig a bit heavy as we do tend to fill pouches, you could get a harness to attach to the belt and wear one or the other, or both depending on the game style or your playing style. I have an old British Army chest rig that I find very comfortable that I use for my aeg's, and a belt rig (not the best pics) that I use for my GBBR's (usually). The good thing about Molle set ups is how you can tailor it to your prefered loadout, the worst thing about Molle tho is how you can tailor it to your prefered loadout & will adjust it time & time again. As long as you enjoy your game day then that's all that matters, on my first skirmish I was in DPM with an old PLCE rig, took me ages to find my preferences.

As in the pics, looking for some AEG items. if you have a MK18 DD rail in Black (Preferably), any condition as its getting painted, but must have all the parts to fit. A Geissele style M4 cocking handle in black. Can be a cheaper make, nothing expensive plz. An LE M4 stock tube. Needs to have the cantered part at the back. Or if you just have any of the cantered end cap at the back then great too. Not looking for new parts or new prices.Ask for price

Airsoft/Replica helmet custom liner

Vestguard has a few padding sets, though you have to factor the £8 postage in. I'd wager they'd last longer than the cheapo ones and in the case of the most expensive, can obviously offer more protection. Depends what you want to spend. You can make shims for foam sets by adding adhesive velcro hook/loop back to back, with foam optionally sandwiched between. I can vouch for the D30 stuff being very protective against bumps and not just for comfort. -

I was going to order a gearbox from them, spoke to them on whatsapp and we decided that it'd probably get stopped in customs and wouldn't be worth it, so we did not do it seemed pretty trustworthy

Sounds like a PC would fit me like a bra if that's how they should be worn 😂 Set up looks good punisher, I'll take pictures of my belts later and how I've set them up so you can see how I run the same belt. You can rock just the belt for hot weather and carry everything you need. Not gonna lie I actually quite liked the look of the backwards belt clipped to the carrier, if you find it comfortable run it! A word of caution for the belt you linked, as a bigger man the buckle will dig in and be uncomfortable very quickly, I had 2 and sold them as it was painful after less than an hour of having it on. You can get cheap belts with that style buckle on temu for ~£2 to try it before splashing out on the Emerson one to decide if you'll like it or not!

I've always fancied one of those blank firing guns. For me it's because they're very realistic, you can operate them and own without a licence. The truth is, I would probably rarely have an opportunity to fire any blanks even if I did have one. Plus I was always reluctant to pay so much for the good ones. These days I don't think I could sneak it past the missus 😊

That's because new laws give the impression something is being done, creating PR opportunities, rather than actually doing something. Just look at the legislation around "zombie knives", yes they sound nasty but in reality the vast majority of knife crime is done with something that you'd find in any home kitchen. Bugger all will change but at least the daily mail reading pearl clutchers will be placated

Which also means he's not old enough to buy an IF either.

Looks good and if the set up works for you that's all that matters. Don't worry about mixing up camo types, alot of people do it and anyway decent fieldcraft will always win over a fancy camouflage pattern. A case in point is when I watched a guy dressed as spiderman sneak up and get the drop on 2 guys at a woodland site.
